His singing is, unexpectedly transcendent. Downside, I can’t make out all the words, so I’m not sure what he’s trying to say. I think the point is that people fall deeply in love, freed from the darkness of being alone, but when the delve deeper into the relationship, they find there was nothing there in the first place.
The song ironically, is about nothing! it’s all up to the listeners interpretation. “We are obsessed with finding meaning and the band holds up a mirror to the listener wherein we inject our own meaning. @@dancepiglover ok, so i just listened to "The Thin Ice" by Pink Floyd and I see where people are drawing comparisons. But I'm with you, I hear a lot more Meatloaf than anyone else.
I don't know what it is about this episode and song but this scene has always stuck with me since i first saw it years ago.
I was in awe at this animated musical theater. Seriously. Just WOW! Out of nowhere and so beautiful. Excellent production on both fronts.
I love how this show goes so hard with the music when it doesn't have to at all. much like bob's burgers.
I love this song ️💙
The first time I heard this song I got chills and I still do
I think it's instrumental part
0:47
Is this the start of the song
@@hank.81267 years ago is crazy
I love how he connects to audio and video cords
Imagine being the Summoner, you got a good voice, you've got a cool ass little robotnik style flying chair and everyone is hyped to see you.
Living the dream.
I'm being one hundred percent truthful when I say I would totally listen to this song
It is a real song, the band is Wax Fang
His singing is, unexpectedly transcendent. Downside, I can’t make out all the words, so I’m not sure what he’s trying to say. I think the point is that people fall deeply in love, freed from the darkness of being alone, but when the delve deeper into the relationship, they find there was nothing there in the first place.
The song ironically, is about nothing! it’s all up to the listeners interpretation. “We are obsessed with finding meaning and the band holds up a mirror to the listener wherein we inject our own meaning. Even when they tell us it means nothing and there isn’t a point beyond being a reflective experience in and of itself, we still look for a bigger point. Any attempt to glean more is missing the point entirely.”
@@itsrie4807 Huh, possible ironic twist, nice.
I feel like it should had been a movie.
This is probably one of the best songs I've ever heard
Fully agree
I'm an old man and I agree. It makes me think about a lot of Elton John's works. That's a hard sound to imitate, and the artist nails it so hard!
This was a hell of a thing to wake up to TH-cam autoplay while suffering the delirium of a fever.
This song gets into my brain like those tentacles and will not let GO!!!!
I also just noticed that the Summoners exhaust puffs in time with the beat
This episode hit me deep. . .
This song snd episode are both just pure bangers. 🔥
1:48 I know they’re all meant to be the same species but I’m 100% positive that that’s Roger in the baseball cap. That’s literally his character design.
Eehhhh , there at least one modified detail with the design
hes got a huge adams apple compared to roger
I only clicked because I thought I was looking at a World of Warcraft raid boss. I don't regret my mistake, that was an awesome song.
Such a top tier epi. American Dad is amazing
Fun Fact: The voice of Emperor Zing, Michael McKean, is the new voice of Grandpa Lou Pickles in the new Rugrats.
Chuck McGill from Better Call Saul!
Pilot angel dust
@@rosethepinkhairedsaiyan769 No, that's Michael Kovach you're thinking of.
@@dillonwright13 oh thanks
It's actually a very touching original song. Most songs from this show are silly novelty songs about a more concrete person, place, or thing. This is a poetic song about love.
They didn't write it
It is not an American Dad original
Such a good song I'm glad I discovered it on American Dad all them years ago ❤
Something about this song the words, the voice, the delivery just starts to stir emotions when I hear it
This was like 6 years prior to Rick & Morty.
This song is awesome
PURE ART
2021 and this still goes hard asf
"A sight for sore eyes, to the blind would be awful majestic"
What an opener 🔥
Jeff is such a fantastic every man character. Hes nothing special, he's not good at much, but hes such a sweet guy, you gotta love him.
Being stoned watching this was a major "stuck" moment
What makes this episode awesome is that it still works when you’re not stoned.
WAX FANG!!!!!!
"Sorry this songs really popular here"
Most rawest moment in cartoon history
I cannot believe this made me tear up lmao
okay but like, this song slaps, but seeing jeff cry made me so sad it really distracted me from the actual episode.
Not seeing Jeff cry before this really hit me with the feels
Jeff’s character arc during his space saga was interesting to the point I thought they were gonna follow through until a series finale or a movie, sadly the writers had other plans in mind I guess
Sounds like a freaking Pink Floyd in the movie The wall
Love it
It has a "rock opera" feel
Or Elton John
Meatloaf
That burn at the end tho
this scene is a good way to portray how you can never see the blessings you have. too bad its a lesion that cant be learned until you live it.
I'm such a Wax Fang fan boy, thanks American Dad.
That ending line kills me after surviving an abusive relationship with a partner who I still find myself missing
Awesome song...
Hands down one of the best American dad songs
This song is absolutely beautiful 🤩
Anybody else vibing out to that song ?
Thank you....just thank you AD.
Those DRUM fills are just straight 🔥FIRE!!!!
as a Wax Fang fan i screamed when i heard this.
I saw this episode today for the first time. I have heard so many good songs today, I have never heard befor, but the one used in this episode 'Majestic by Wax Feng' is the greatest I have heard.
I will play this alot in the next few days, untill my ears will bleed and then some more.
Still one of the best scenes in tv history❤
Wax Fang and My Morning Jacket: Two bands I can thank American Dad for introducing me to.
