I am a woman. I (used to) love comics. I would never claim to be an expert in comics because there is no way any one person could have read, much less remember, every comic book in existence. (Not to mention how often reboots and spin-offs happen). Honestly, I think it would be fun to have a boyfriend who knows more about comics than me so he could recommend some to me. (No newer comics though unfortunately.)

Comics as a medium encompasses tens of thousands of books, novels and strips with dozens of genres and subgenres spanning over 80 years and 5 continents. Human mental bandwidth is finite. If you're obsessing over social justice 24/7, you're putting yourself in a permanent and heightened state of hysteria and anxiety. This is objectively unhealthy. And the infuriating part is all of these lefties will preach to you about the value of self care, taking time for yourself, meditation and centering and all that shiz. So why do they then systematically deny you your leisure, your escape, your refuge from the maelstrom? They won't let you game or watch media or read comics without nonstop woke interference.
