They come from a place where sexuality predominantly drives what they do and how they see the world. It's absolutely unfulfilling so they need to push it on other people to have the other people validate them. When the other people don't validate them, they exercise their power over the other people to either force them into compliance or simply hurt them in a desperate show of dominance. It is entirely possible to see him as old-fashioned and yet have respect for him and his vision, and the LOTR trilogy does that. In turn, the trilogy should arouse admiration in anyone who wants to make movies, it's quality should be something to aspire to, but instead it is being subjected to the destructive envy of small, unoriginal and impure minds.

Gundam is a Native American guy from New York, he makes no bones about having a fucked-up childhood and dysfunctional family. He's been a failed rockstar surrounded by drunks and getting shot at. But he's now one of the best artists and the funniest people on TH-cam. MauLer is a Welshman, who's more focussed on the art and science of telling stories. And he's a regular guy with a bunch of siblings and did a bunch of odd jobs including working in a toy store warehouse. Diversity is not just skin color and ethnicity. Its background and experience, and who we are as people. No two people have lived the same life. We are all different. Its time to remind idiots to respect and appreciate that.

Speaking of LOTR, I started listening to the audiobook, and I couldn't help it but to notice how many times the word queer was used at the beginning. Tolkien was clearly stressing how much at the time everything slightly "different" was considered bizarre, and everybody was being suspicious about unusual behavior, while the characters in the story had a pure relationship one another instead. For these agenda-driven writers, to turn a literary masterpiece into a woke propoganda sh*tfest, not only is utterly offensive, but also is entirely against everything that Tolkien stood for.

The Mask of Zorro is one of my favorite movies. Used to watch it every Christmas with my siblings. It's so good, and not nearly as well-known as it should be. It's got well-realized and -written characters, sexy romance, lots of action, and great stuntwork. In other words, it's a movie of the ilk you just don't get very often anymore.
Me and my sister were watching it recently and we both loved it. It was so nice seeing stuff I never saw the first time I saw it, actors there because they can ACT, and a story that takes place in a period of time that doesn’t really get covered much in entertainment.

It is strange, because this critique is only ever thrown at western cultures who have done far more to represent diversity within their respective societies within the past 30 years than any other non-white cultures on the planet.
Papa Gundam in 20 seconds painted in my mind a Star Wars series pitch full of life, potential and absolute brilliance. The Lucasfilm story group has had 7 years and countless films and TV and its all trash. I so want to see Gundam's Star Wars Ronin show, like legit.
Man, you guys really made me think about Star Wars and how I'd have liked the trilogy to be. To make it short: Episode VII - The original origin story remains roughly the same. Finn is a stormtrooper who escapes and Rey is a scavenger. But this time I would show some of their upbringing how they ended up where they are and both having shown signs of being force sensitive. Midway into the film they both end up together and overcoming their first challenge by facing Kylo. More through luck and a bit wits as well as both figuring out their force sensitivity. But not before Kylo hasn't impacted Reys mental state. The end Episode VIII - In this movie it's mostly about the upbringing of them learning their new found powers. Rey being the more talented, but also ending up more unstable and more drawn to the dark side. They may even both get taught temporarily by Luke in which Finn eventually deals with his past wrongdoings and learns to let go and works hard on himself to make up for his lower amount of talent while Rey gets taken over by her arrogance and the force connection she has to Kylo. All ends up with them both clashing eventually towards the end of the film. Difficult to say if it should be a draw or one of them winning. Both has it's pros and cons. Episode IX - Finn becoming a Jedi and Rey losing her way and finding a path to redemption is what this movie is eventually all about before she gets back on the right track and they both manage to fight the evil together. It could've been this simple. Don't even need a crapton of sidecharacters.
I tried warning people when Disney bought Marvel that they were going to screw up Marvel big-time, and I was laughed at & mocked. The main retort was that Disney would be able to spend immense more amounts of dollars and that would somehow magically make the Marvel movies better. And how has it turned out? I love the way they mention the state of the American military. They are right in many ways. The British military whipped the marines. Obviously, no military will win every engagement all the time. But the reason this is getting so much attention is because after the shit show in Afghanistan, the Marines are having a MASSIVE morale problem. The morale problem is so bad that the USMC changed its tattoo policy in a desperate attempt to sweet talk Marines into staying in the Corps. Being told to clean up Kabul airport for the taliban and leaving Americans behind in the grip of the taliban hurt morale more than the dead Marines they lost. The leadership doesn't understand it.
Others have summarized this better, but to me once Gundam arrives, its like Gundam performing stand up for 3 hrs to the greatest audience a man could ask for.
People need to start worrying more about the content of ones character rather than the color of their skin, or what they have in their pant, or who they want to be with. Im white, but when I was around 8 (not long after the Wesley Snipes "Blade" movies had come out) I dressed up as Blade for Halloween. It didn't matter that he didnt "look like me," what mattered was that he was cool and I wanted to be like him not only because he was a badass, but because he had character, he struggled dealing with his thirst for blood, and no matter what faced him he tried to do the right thing and not give into darkness. Stuff like that is what makes a good character, not what they look like or who they wanna sleep with. I left this comment on another video by 'The Yellow Flash', but I think it needed to be said again (oh and anyone who's like 'this is edited' I only edit to fix spelling, punctuation or grammer errors that I see. Speaking of LOTR, I started listening to the audiobook, and I couldn't help it but to notice how many times the word queer was used at the beginning. Tolkien was clearly stressing how much at the time everything slightly "different" was considered bizarre, and everybody was being suspicious about unusual behavior, while the characters in the story had a pure relationship one another instead.
For these agenda-driven writers, to turn a literary masterpiece into a woke propoganda sh*tfest, not only is utterly offensive, but also is entirely against everything that Tolkien stood for.
Queer meant a different thing back then😌. As did the word “gay”. I get a chuckle when i’m reading literature and i see “and he walked in with a gaily manner” etc

The Mask of Zorro is one of my favorite movies. Used to watch it every Christmas with my siblings. It's so good, and not nearly as well-known as it should be.
It's got well-realized and -written characters, sexy romance, lots of action, and great stuntwork. In other words, it's a movie of the ilk you just don't get very often anymore.
Me and my sister were watching it recently and we both loved it.
It was so nice seeing stuff I never saw the first time I saw it, actors there because they can ACT, and a story that takes place in a period of time that doesn’t really get covered much in entertainment.

Kumail Nanjiani's red carpet comment totally misses the fact that the reason why many of these Franchises/characters are white centric is because they originated from majority white cultures and written by mostly white men who draw from their life experiences and influences at the time (we're constantly told that we should stay in our lanes, but when we do its criticised for not being diverse enough). It is strange, because this critique is only ever thrown at western cultures who have done far more to represent diversity within their respective societies within the past 30 years than any other non-white cultures on the planet.
And if you don't stay in your lane then your "appropriating" and god forbid you learn about another culture and pay respect to it as a white man.

Papa Gundam in 20 seconds painted in my mind a Star Wars series pitch full of life, potential and absolute brilliance. The Lucasfilm story group has had 7 years and countless films and TV and its all trash.

Man, you guys really made me think about Star Wars and how I'd have liked the trilogy to be. To make it short:
Episode VII - The original origin story remains roughly the same. Finn is a stormtrooper who escapes and Rey is a scavenger. But this time I would show some of their upbringing how they ended up where they are and both having shown signs of being force sensitive. Midway into the film they both end up together and overcoming their first challenge by facing Kylo. More through luck and a bit wits as well as both figuring out their force sensitivity. But not before Kylo hasn't impacted Reys mental state. The end
Episode VIII - In this movie it's mostly about the upbringing of them learning their new found powers. Rey being the more talented, but also ending up more unstable and more drawn to the dark side. They may even both get taught temporarily by Luke in which Finn eventually deals with his past wrongdoings and learns to let go and works hard on himself to make up for his lower amount of talent while Rey gets taken over by her arrogance and the force connection she has to Kylo. All ends up with them both clashing eventually towards the end of the film. Difficult to say if it should be a draw or one of them winning. Both has it's pros and cons.
Episode IX - Finn becoming a Jedi and Rey losing her way and finding a path to redemption is what this movie is eventually all about before she gets back on the right track and they both manage to fight the evil together.
It could've been this simple. Don't even need a crapton of sidecharacters.

The main retort was that Disney would be able to spend immense more amounts of dollars and that would somehow magically make the Marvel movies better. And how has it turned out? I love the way they mention the state of the American military. They are right in many ways. The British military whipped the marines. Obviously, no military will win every engagement all the time. But the reason this is getting so much attention is because after the shit show in Afghanistan, the Marines are having a MASSIVE morale problem. The morale problem is so bad that the USMC changed its tattoo policy in a desperate attempt to sweet talk Marines into staying in the Corps.
Being told to clean up Kabul airport for the taliban and leaving Americans behind in the grip of the taliban hurt morale more than the dead Marines they lost. The leadership doesn't understand it.

People need to start worrying more about the content of ones character rather than the color of their skin, or what they have in their pant, or who they want to be with. Im white, but when I was around 8 (not long after the Wesley Snipes "Blade" movies had come out) I dressed up as Blade for Halloween. It didn't matter that he didnt "look like me," what mattered was that he was cool and I wanted to be like him not only because he was a badass, but because he had character, he struggled dealing with his thirst for blood, and no matter what faced him he tried to do the right thing and not give into darkness. Stuff like that is what makes a good character, not what they look like or who they wanna sleep with. I left this comment on another video by 'The Yellow Flash', but I think it needed to be said again (oh and anyone who's like 'this is edited' I only edit to fix spelling, punctuation or grammer errors that I see. I know I probably dont fix everything, but I just try to make what Ive said as easy to understand as possible since it seems like most people nowadays cant even read. Let alone understand the subtlety and nuances of writing a joke which can be understood when only read.)

And when she released the emails from her time on the set, they had the same details- but about another person (one of the directors).
