Brilliant. Fun fact, yeah we don't have a written constitution. We have the Magna Carta which promised the protection of church rights, protection for the barons from illegal imprisonment, access to swift justice, and limitations on feudal payments to the Crown, to be implemented through a council of 25 barons, according to Wikipedia. It is a historical document but it's not really "the law" because it's outdated. We also have the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom that recognises that these 4 things are like the pillars of our constitution but there's nothing written or codified about it: parliamentary sovereignty (any laws passed must be obeyed by everyone, including any law passed on Westminster in England also usually applies to Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland), the rule of law (no-one is above the law), democracy (fair and free elections), and upholding international law (self explanatory).
As an Angolan I never get tired of seeing foreigners seeing our flag for the first time 🇦🇴 🇦🇴 🇦🇴 🇦🇴 🇦🇴

@mr.negativenancy5751 in their defense, most people would consider Egypt part of Africa. They would also consider that region as part of "the Middle East." So its a bit of a trick question/ rather obscure question.
Especially since its a fuzzy, rather arbitrary divide only people really into geography world care to learn.
@@kennymartin5976 well the middle east is a trans continental region that stretches part of north Africa, Arabia, and a bit of Europe I think. So yeah that part is easy to mistake, but Asia is a continent which no one would argue is Africa, so his logic is what I found funny. The Sinai peninsula is easy to mistake for Africa, but that should've immediately disqualified it from being the answer.
I need you guys to know, that as an irishman born and raised in the Republic of Ireland, I also guessed Ireland for the Ivory Coast flag.

My 6 year old has heard me watch GG forever, and LOVES the GG intro. He is also obsessed with railroad crossings. So, he goes on TH-cam and watches videos of crossings from around the world and apparently most videos show the country's flag. His knowledge of world flags, at SIX, is shocking. I can't wait to tell him tomorrow that Game Grumps played a flag game. He'll be SO EXCITED.

I started this not really caring about flags and the more the grumps were like "that's a cool flag" the more I began to be like "hey yeah actually these do look good".
As a dutch person I might have giggled when they guessed Netherlands for Luxembuorg''s flag. They get confused so many times by everyone, the only difference is a shade of blue. 😂

To be honest, many many Dutch friends I have use the Luxembourg flag in their Instagram bio 😬
They also always refer to their country as "Holland" and they get mad to foreign people if they refer to it as "Holland" instead of "The Netherlands" 🤷🏻♂️

@@hugzpls For the flag, the difference is the lowest line. Dutch flag is dark blue, Luxembourg flag is very light blue. For Holland vs. The NL, Holland is a state not the name of the country. But although the Dutch people get annoyed when a non Dutch person refers to the country as Holland, they almost always refer to it as Holland themselves :-)

The stars represent El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Guatemala, the blue stripes represent the Pacific and Atlantic ocean and white stripe represents the land in between.

I feel like I did pretty well on most of the flag questions. Were a few I psyched myself out of as well from second guessing, and some I didn't recognize, but I had a similar fascination and love for world flags as a kid so a lot have stuck with me. Plus following soccer and the World Cup helps because you see a lot of the flags throughout qualification. But the smaller island countries or African nations can definitely be tricky.

As a major geography nerd growing up videos like this and the "There are so many countries that aren't Andorra!" one both make me laugh and also want to yell at my screen on how dumb they are. Which isn't their fault since geography isn't treated as a serious school subject by the US
The fun thing about X nerds is that they know so much about X that they believe that things that are commonly known in their field would be common knowledge outside of it too.
@@resileaf9501 Again geography is treated as a joke subject by most of the US when it's literally one of the easiest subjects to learn. You wouldn't believe how many people in the US don't know what the other states are, where they are, or even their capitol cities. Like gepgraphy is literally knowing where in the world you are but people are so flippant about it because "it's useless" or "I have no reason to know that" and it shouldn't be. Now if you're studying their sociology or economics then yeah that's a very specific knowledge not everyone needs.
