AJS Modena 125cc oil Shock

1000 mile service I Removed the Oil Drain Plug And This is what Came out, over 25 years of working on Bikes and Scooters I've NEVER Seen this Before,

It was 2 stroke oil the dad had brought the wrong oil .

Castrol power 1 4stroke is a pink/red colour when you put it in and when it goes dirty it goes that colour. Its a great oil but is red like that.

Castrol 4 stroke 10w40 power i. Cracking stuff

I used castrol 10w 40 oil it was that red and that thickness, very similar and I'm worried if it's the same oil here

I use castrol power 1 4stroke and its red. Far from being harmful,its considered one of the best oils out there.

Maybe the owner has been supplementing the fuel with two stroke oil? I've heard of stupid-er things done

steve i recently saw a modena with a rather nice backrest rack and spare wheel holder, would that be a modified lambretta or vespa item? do you know how compatible they are ? i have a friend who is a tig whelder if the modding is possible?
