Hi Steve great Modena videos. I’ve purchased a 2018 modena 125 which was vandalised. The ignition switch is ok but the white plug was ripped out so I have 4 wires. I have connected red black etc and all seems to work but not sure if the other wires are for other models. I don’t want to replace the leg shield until I’m certain. AJS just sent the wiring schematic in black and white so can’t follow any way.

Why no clear tubing attached to bleed nipple And a jam jar to collect old fluid? Less mess and much easier, and no chance of corrosion I'm surprised the rider never lost his life. Riding around with a front brake like that.

A nice educational video Steve Amos. I am out of retirement as a bus mechanic, And i repaired an AJS modena for a friend! Seems I now have a full time job repairing them, seems the starter clutch is a problem with them so I just decidec to help the lads out. 1 of the lad's got charged £170 pounds for a replacement starter, when it was not the starter? but the 3 retaining bolts that are in the clutch had sheared.. Pluse the starter was not new it was just cleaned up. I have been watching an guy in california who does a lot of repairs and videos really god of the guy too keep your videos coming fella.

Thanks you very much for this demonstration , you made it look quite easy but i have a question, what if I loosen the nipple on the front break and the fluid does not flow out like in the video. I have the BMS Chelsea 150 basically the same ride just named different here in EAST LOS ANGELES CA I’m going to attempt doing it myself, I know my way around a garage and using tools unfortunately I never did this myself cause It’s one of the parts of a 🏍 or 🛵 that is most important and should be left working PERFECT. Great video , everything came off with no problems but I cannot get the wheel off , what do you attach the pullers to on it ?

just wanna say thanks for this guide it worked a treat 😊 my scooter suddenly became harder n harder to start and idle till it wouldn't start at all,followed this guide and the exhaust valve was tight with no gap,adjusted it and it started right up and purrs like a kitten now before I flattened the battery three times trying to get it going

How can you rebuild that, surely the bearings inside the case are also going to be shot if they have been running without oil?
