I remember when we were at the Astros and my dad went to go get Starbucks at a Starbucks inside a building.Then he comes back and to us and is like,”there’s a whole store down there”. So of course we go. Then we figured out there was a whole mall. Out of the tons of people at the the parade, not many knew about the underground tunnels, so it was practically empty and lines were way shorter compared to other resteraunts not underground. I swear I saw atleast five subways there while we were walking.
you have to be cool enough to access them, they have bouncers outside the entrance. They aint letting u in if u anything below a 10. Cant believe the mayor allows this
I left Houston in 2001 after Allison. I'd wondered over the years if the tunnels were still accessible. Good to see they've survived all the flooding.

When i worked downtown that was a great place to go for lunch and avoid all the panhandler and homeless people
