I get the fact that it is extremely unfair to the British society, when migrants are not willing to work and abuse the system by collecting welfare benefits etc... however, when they see disciplined foreigners that are driven to do work, do whatever it takes to adapt, respect local laws and culture, work hard to make their life better not becoming a burden to society, being added value to the society - the Brits frawn... i am confused... must be the weather...
How is Boston divided? It voted 75% to leave the EU... the highest leave vote in the country. What slanted, bias reporting. If it voted 75% remain would you call it divided as well? The voting public of Boston are pretty much united against the European Union.
Did they go out of their way to find the whitest town in Britain? I did not see one "asian" or black face. If they think they have troubles, they should have a couple of dozen pakistanis or jamaicans move in and they would see the poles and czechs in a whole other light.
In your own words you say "Boston voted overwhelmingly to leave the EU." So how is this a divided town?? I have unsubscribed due to your low quality journalism that smells a lot like the mainstream media.
Ultimately, the chances of our government deporting migrants who are already here is basically non-existent, so though migration will fall, migrants aren't going to go away, and we do need to learn to live with them, as well as them learning to live with us.
Well it certainly isn't embracing the historic English identity wholeheartedly either when you're making a family dinner from 2 foreign foods imported from former British colonies while complaining about immigrants. Please explain how living among other nationalities in your home city/country takes away your personal identity. I've spent the last 6 years living in Thailand and China, but that doesn't diminish my personal identity at all.
You could always replace most if not all of the UK with Gypsies... We could have a Gypsy queen and the Gypsy prime minister could wander about the whole of the UK in a horse drawn wagon offering bare knuckle fights with other Gypsies from other parts of the UK... it would make for great entertainment on You tube... it would maybe even bring in a lot of tourism from the rest of Europe a lot of whom would jump to the chance of fighting bare knuckle with our head of state...
Theresa May cannot say that the europeans already in the UK can stay until the EU says that the britons already in the EU can stay there also. She has to be able to demand reciprocity in order to protect those britons who have made their lives abroad.

Cristian Georgescu The UK is not sovereign if the highest form of legal and Executive authority is located within the EU. This removes the Sovereignty of Parliament the Jewl of British democracy.
UK joined EU in 1972 or 1973, dont recall exactly, as one of the weakest countries in EU. EU helped UK become what it is today. Ans now, when its Uk time to help others in it's turn, they cowardly leave cos "no more benefits". EU membership requires a sense of solidarity. Its sad to see UK has none. When we joined the common market the UK was over regulated and governments were under the thumbs of strong Unions and you are correct the common market was good for the UK in that it was a free wealthy market. But times have changed since then the EU has now become a much smaller actor on the world stage, governments in the countries have overspent long before the 2007/2008 financial crises. That is neither are fault, we the British people never consented to seed sovereignty over to Brussels to decide our own future we are a historically global nation with strong ties around the world. Most countries within Europe don't Britain was never on the same track with the majority of EU countries the pres for a stronger larger Union only made brits more resentful to the EU, the EU continually ignored British government appeals against EU laws and now they are paying the price.
When we become one race Boston will be the first to have about 20 nationalities in the the human DNA bit of Turkish bit of Polish, Latvian, Portuguese, bit of Black, Chinese, Indian, Scottish and of course not for getting English all in one human and even that'll be transgender
Cristian Georgescu Any country should be allowed to complain about migrants if there are known issues concerning said migrants such as poor integration, unsustainable use of resources and so on. However, it's ironic and amusing to see Great Britain complain about such things. Poetic justice of the highest sort.
Poetic justice of the highest sort. => exactly my point. UK, aka the "Great" Britain, controlled at some point 1/3 of the known world. No one asked them to go to India, Canada, Australia...etc. They just did. They imposed their culture, language, system of government while robbing all their "colonies" blind. Seeing UK citizens complaining of the same stuff their grand grand fathers so proudly did to others is, exactly like you said, poetic justice of the highest sort.
Cristian Georgescu Then you are a real moron for even thinking that modern day UK deserves this treatment for actions that they themselves never committed, that they themselves never agreed to, that they themselves never had any say on. Modern day UK is different from Imperialistic UK. The latter being long dead existing only in History books. The UK of today is *not* the Great Britain that you so dearly despise. She is long dead, only the UK exist and is alive today having to face a big problem to their National security affecting their people. In all seriousness, quit that rhetoric that disregards people's concern on their own security simply because we "colonized" their countries. Those countries are free living their own lives, practicing their culture away from outside influence, the people of UK have the same right as these countries to practice their own culture. All you're doing by shutting down people's voices on matters concerning their future; their children's future; and eventually their nation's future is showing them that they don't matter; that they are second class citizens whose needs takes second place; that they are human beings with little importance compared to the arriving migrants.
It's not so much that the UK deserves it as it is just an ironic twist of fate. However, it's worth noting that although the British Empire is not around anymore, the resources and riches that they have siphoned from other countries and the cultural and economical impacts that they've had on different parts of the world are still a reality and can be felt, for good or worse, by many people. Just writing this off as being sins of the past just seems unsympathetic; I have higher hopes than this for countries that champion the cause of humanity. So in all seriousness, let's regard all people's concerns indeed - not just the natives, nor just the migrants.
Why are the Czechs, the Poles, and Hungarians so upset 😭 with Brexit and restricting immigration to Britain. They voted for governments that went against the E.U. in restricting immigration and some even built fences around their countries. What they need to understand is that in the U.K. they are looked at almost as Muslims are looked at. And I say almost but not quite. Don’t they like a taste of their own medicine?
