I appreciate that you mention the number of cross references provided, of many of the Bible’s I have reviewed this is a factor that is of interest to me when looking for a Bible whether it’s a NASB, NKJV, KJV, ESV for study. I just received the full yap in the marble sapphire. I’m floored by how nice it is. The color way reminds me of the ocean color around the Iand of St. John
This is my favorite edition of all time. I have 2 in the ESV. Desert camel and prussian blue. These Bibles lay flat as the old chant bound long primers. I'm in love with the format. I dreamed up this Bible 10 years ago, and they finally made it 😊
I’m ordering a NKJV Stridon next week. I was thinking Saddle Brown, but wow, now I don’t know.. this one is impressive. I haven’t bought a premium Bible without watching your review of it. You are the very best at this My Brother in Christ. Thanks for what you do.. Be blessed
@@mnsohseven I Grabbed a Dessert Camel. It is absolutely amazing. I am going to grab this one for my 18yr old son. He absolutely loves this Sapphire blue after watching the video. My wife & daughter want the Tuscany. I’m also ordering 2 NKJV PSQ’s for my youngest boys. Schuyler is going to have to give me a part time position as a second job to pay for all of these Bibles 😂
Wow, now this is something I would purchase. I've never owned a premium bible, but this is absolutely gorgeous. Also, I'm a huge fan of single column text.
Great review, Randy. To me, the show through doesn't look great. Is it being emphasised by the camera, or is it the same in the flesh? I wish Schuyler could find a way to improve opacity, maybe a heavier gsm? I know that would make it thicker but I'd happily forgo the concordance as I never use it. (I'm sure others will disagree though. I guess it's down to personal preference) if it improved opacity
No matter how beautiful they make all these bibles, i find it distracting seeing the text behind the pages. Is there a bible that has thick pages that blocks the texts behind the page from bleeding through? I am currently using an ereader (KOBO) and its fantastic. No issue of ghosting. its what i use to do my daily bible reading. i still would like to find a physical bible that has that kind of readability without distracting ghosting effect.
My issue with this cover- in full yapp- the cross of off center and I have to send one back because the cross is also a little crooked. Jongbloed needs to work big time on that with the full yapped Bibles.
I would love to see a comparison video of this Bible to other single-column vbv formats. For example, the LSB Handy Size, Crossway’s Preaching Bible, and Thomas Nelson’s recent NKJV single-column vbv. Would you consider doing that?

I have the ESV stridon. The paper is too thin for this size. Pages constantly fold and crease just from handling it. Im very gentle. Sometimes just picking it up and walking to the table I will find a page that somehow is messed up. Its very frustrating. A 32 or 36 gsm paper would make this bible perfect.
My jaw literally dropped just seeing the thumbnail. That Bible is gorgeous.
Now only if they would make it in deep purple.

Allan's KJV, both Chant and Charfleet, lay flatter still thanks to the Oxford style binding v.s. Jongbloed binding.

Concordances are a waste for most. I agree. Substitute with college-ruled paper.

Hi fellow Tennessean! The Stridon is one point smaller, but it's darker. Readbility is about the same.

The lockman NASB wide margin that is the same layout as the stridon has amazing paper compared to this. Wish I was a NASB 2020 guy after using it.
