in india many broker's available full service broker's and discount brokers , am also inverst in share market, I suggest if we holding Long term,we find full-service (banking securities) broker is better, or do a daytrade(intraday) discount brokerage is better because brokerage cost is low and exposure given high, thank you brother

But I already opened a Vanguard account with the ISA option for this tax year, so I have opened a basic stock account with Trading 212. Do I need to declare my capital gains to HMRC, If I make any profit or I need to declare only If I get the profit more than capital gain tax allowance(12000 £) ?. Please could you advise?
Siva Ram, in my understanding, you have to register for and file self assessment returns if you get capital gains even if it is lesser than 12,000 £. Also remember HMRC could ask you to file self assessment at any point if they want to. And when you start filing returns, then from that year onwards you have to file returns even if you have no income whatsoever.

Sethuraman, you can add funds either using apple pay or android pay which is fast or through Bank Transfer from any UK bank account which takes a couple of hours. However bank transfer won't work during the bank holidays (e.g. this Good Friday to Monday) as per their terms.
Thanks for all the info. Very clearly explained. A query: when you trade under isa stocks and share, I think there is an investment allowance of £20000. For instance if I invest £10000 in April 2020, and make a profit of £4000 in October 2020,can I just sell shares worth £4000, and withdrew this profit. After October 2020 Would isa investment allowance be affected ie I can only invest another £6000, as opposed to another £10,000 before April 2021.

Could you please share info about NRE/NRO savings account for NRIs. Is it mandatory to convert India Bank savings account to NRO account after coming to UK?
Technically yes. If you want to send money to your own account in India, it has to be an NRE or NRO account. NRE account benefit is that you can easily bring money back to UK or the country you live in and there is no tax implications for interest earned in that account in India. But people in India cannot deposit funds into that account. So you need an NRO account in which rents can be deposited for e.g. If you have come to UK only for a fixed period, you could leave your normal Indian savings account dormant and open a new NRE / NRO account so that it's easier I think.

Balakrishna, The fees in H&L is very high. Almost 11.95 for every buy and sale. But there are no recurring costs. Also H&L is the full market meaning you can buy any share. Whereas freetrade is limited even though they have a lot of stocks you can buy. If you have never done share trading, I suggest freetrade in the first year and once you get used to it , you can then do H&L as you can buy and sell without fees in freetrade and deal in smaller amounts like 50£ OR 100£

Could you please share info about NRE/NRO savings account for NRIs. Is it mandatory to convert India Bank savings account to NRO account after coming to UK?
Technically yes. If you want to send money to your own account in India, it has to be an NRE or NRO account. NRE account benefit is that you can easily bring money back to UK or the country you live in and there is no tax implications for interest earned in that account in India. But people in India cannot deposit funds into that account. So you need an NRO account in which rents can be deposited for e.g. If you have come to UK only for a fixed period, you could leave your normal Indian savings account dormant and open a new NRE / NRO account so that it's easier I think.

Balakrishna, The fees in H&L is very high. Almost 11.95 for every buy and sale. But there are no recurring costs. Also H&L is the full market meaning you can buy any share. Whereas freetrade is limited even though they have a lot of stocks you can buy. If you have never done share trading, I suggest freetrade in the first year and once you get used to it , you can then do H&L as you can buy and sell without fees in freetrade and deal in smaller amounts like 50£ OR 100£

Pilendran, shares are common. You can buy shares in LSE and NYSE from France . But for a share trading app you can check Degiro i think.
