But on a more serious note, I am german and I have to say the warcrimes of the Japanese are almost universally unknown where I am from. I even started my first BA army as Japanese because I wanted to have one of the "nice" Axis nations... boy oh boy. I have since researched and read a lot, especially the book "Knighst of Bushido". Gives you a whole new perspective about that conflict there.

I just got into the game after stumbling onto these videos, and I just found yours. I have to say you guys are a lot of fun to watch, you guys are having fun so we all have fun watching.
The machine gun on the tank isn't coaxial you can fire both only the early version of Ha Go you can't fire both. It's too cramped.

Little list/unit idea: the vodka supernova, one lend lease Stuart (all the guns) and a FAT 11-man, veteran, body armoured, tank rider squad!

2units that I have for my Japanese and they really are a big threat is my Type 98 320mm spigot mortar and then my dual 13.2mm Type 93 heavy MG team. The spigot mortar is just like a heavy mortar except you use the 4 inch template then the nasty is you roll for D6 pins and what ever you roll you add 2 to it so you roll a 4 it is then a 6 or a 2 then it is 4 and so on. The dual HMG I use as a sort of softskin vehicle and anti sniper/weapons team threat as 6 shots is a good way of at least pinning anything that is not closed top. But it is expensive as it comes at 125 points regular!!
Oh and you can shoot both the main gun and rear turret MG on the Type 97, it is the Type 95 Ha Go that is one or the other because of the 1 man turret rule.

!945 Soviets would have a free SU76 rather than a infantry squad..... give him a couple of extra points to make him regular,,,,
4:50 the reason it isnt belt fed is the same reason the French, British and Italian machine guns were not belt fed. At the time mg belts were literally fabric belts and in tropical heat and humidity were these colonial empires were expecting to fight these would swell and cause the guns to jab and not feed correctly meaning you basically couldnt use your machine gun.

You actually do want a machinegun with a lower rate of fire, the MG42 was adjusted to be a lower rof during the war because it wasn't necessary. You don't need to put 1200 rounds down range to be effective.
Considering that german infantry doctrine literally surrounded the MG42 (the squad carried extra ammo for it, their job was to support the MG) you found a lot of german units surrendered after running out of ammo....which the 1200 rpm doesn't help.
The vickers/maxim was the best machinegun for it's role,you need something to sit statically and put rounds down a range, it'll do that for 24 hours no problem. It might be their grandfathers weapon but it's extremely effective.

Check out the naval infantry and Ampulomet or your soviets. The fact the naval soldiers are all tough fighter and the amuplomets 2”HE and ability to set vehicles on fire is super useful.

T-34/76....really good choice, well done Guys.... and a little Bobby A/C with HMG and not open topped would have given a real plus.
I'd say the BA-10 (or 3/6) is the superior armoured car.

Do bolt action minis come prepainted or do you need to paint them like warhammer minis?
They come unpainted or based both box plastic, metal and now the new silo cast types. So you have to do it yourself, unless you buy pre made and owned.
3 months late but there are plenty of commission painters that can paint your minis for you as well.
