Lovely looking kit! The inclusion of the lighthouse is a great touch. I remember watching this for the first time when I was off school sick- about 7 years old. It was a like a lightning bolt from another world! Made me forget being sick for a while. It was about that time that I started to stitch together that all these films that meant so much to me- this, Jason and the Argonauts, the three Sinbads, were all coming from the same place, the same mind: the brilliant mind of Harryhausen! Thanks for showcasing this, and continuing to spread the word!
Unas piezas indiscutibles estas figuras tan geniales . Yo vi esta película de pequeño en el cine de mi pueblo cuando daban dos películas . Gracias por enseñar esto John es maravilloso Un abrazo
Rather hoping we'd see the kit actually finished and assembled in the video but never mind 😊 Judging by the box photo, it looks like it could be a corker! As always, thanks for that John! XX
Very cool John. I was hoping to have the pleasure of watching you assemble this mighty beastie. I rewatched this recently, i love it and I still have such strong memories of being a small child recreating this scene with an old Airfix T Rex and a lighthouse i had built from Lego. goodtimes.
Another absolute classic. Remember watching Beast from 20,000 Fathoms for the first time on BBC2 during a monster season in the 70s including this, King Kong, Gorgo, Creature from Boggy Creek and another I can't recall. Excellent model. 🥰🥰
The Lighthouse had it coming! This is really cool, and yet I'd love to see a wargaming miniature company - Warlord Games? Games Workshop? - make a range of Ray's wonderful creations. Talos might be a tad big, though!
Wow! One of my earliest memories of Ray Harryhausen is the Rhedosaurus the beast from 20,000 fathoms. Amazing model kit.
Thanks 🤩
I love the retro vibe. So cool! Thank you, John
My pleasure
Great looking kit of a classic Harryhausen scene
Thanks. This is an iconic silhouette too.

Definitely something I'd have a crack at, although still haven't finished the previously released Cyclops Kit😅 Thanks for the look inside the box 👍
Any time!
This is awesome!!! Love the idea of building this one day for my ray harryhausen shelf 🔥
Go for it!

Haha I’m not sure I have the right skills for a full build. Send me yours if you do one.
@@WalshBros I believe these kits can simply be clipped together. Give it a bash John.
@@neilmitchell7795 If I can find the time I'll give it a go!
These kits are a great way to catch up if you missed out on the vinyl statues. I love the inclusion of the lighthouse and base.
Yes this is a real stand out
Looks a great kit thank you.
Glad you like it

Thanks
I read that they were originally going to use a live reptile as the beast, we would have missed out on this incredible creRAYtion. 👍
That would be cool!
Thank you for another great video. Keeping those wonderful creatures alive.
I wonder when we'll finally get a figure of the dragon from the 7th voyage...😮
I hope so, that's on my wish list too!
@@WalshBros yeh will they be doing a deluxe and model kit of this at star ace john i hope so as it will go with the deluxe cyclops and model very well
and the deluxe and vinyle kit of the styracosaurus to go with gwangi would be ggreat too
@@sharkytampy Good shout!
@@WalshBros yeh have a word john with them at star ace to do these 2 figures
Love these pieces
This is so 🆒
Thanks Carlos. 🎉
will they be doing the ghouls john as a soft vinyl kit and is there any way they could release the other 2 stand alone ones as deluxes and a kit ?
All depends on demand for the statute editions if they sell well then it’s more likely.
@@WalshBros ok then thats great and was it you that told me they are releasing the new deluxe trogladyte before christmas
@@WalshBros oh i hope so and then id buy all 3 stand alone ones
@@sharkytampy@sharkytampy No, sadly, Trog is still waiting for our approval before he can go into production.
@@WalshBros oh thats a shame well hopefully it will be soon then and hopefully next year and cant wait to see it
if you can't get a star ace figure then this will allow you to build one yourself
Exactly and more fun, too.
