thanks for the video but I have a different model Passat 2016 and I need to change the light. I can't find the way to open the housing. It doesn't seem to be so easy, there are any clips. please advise. thanks.

The screw that hold the light is not going inside, it has spring that is very hard, all the threads are ok but I don't know why it doesn't fit back

Can anyone help please I have a 2011 VW jetta im having problems with my driver side rear tail lights they're not work brake light works turn signal light works but the running light dont work i tried replacing the bulb and still noting i even cleaned the connector still nothing please help me out i dont have money to take it to a mechanic nor a vw dealer

2017 looks the same you don't even need tools for the outer module.
