    You have a talent for describing the necessary feels and moves clearly and succinctly. You're a good teacher. Thanks for sharing.

    Some of the best, if not the best instruction online. These two drills in particular really impress more than anything else you've taught. We ams need this as dumbed down as it can get. As a teacher you get all A s

    Incredible video. Thank you so much, I’m an okay golfer about 8 handicap and have been trying to elevate my game. Do these drills after work everyday. Thank you again

    Will try this right away. I was a personal trainer for many years and all these movements make sense, yet haven’t had luck with consistency on the course. Maybe this will do it.

      Hopefully this is able to help you out. How is your flexibility? Consistency comes from smooth repeated motions, so if your flexibility it limited you might find it harder.

    I like that video you posted a while ago you were given it a lesson and having your student pushed the club away at the top of his backswing

    Definitely trying this, always tend to get club/hands behind causing inconsistency with bad shots being the black right especially with longer clubs

    I used to take my irons back to parallel just like my driver. For me this resulted in a loss of width and probably a lot of related issues.
    I now have done what you suggest and check constantly to make sure my hands remain in front of my trail shoulder at the top. This reduces arc but actually adds width and when combined with a slight recentering move has improved ball contact and accuracy beyond expectations. Also cured flip and early extension i think.
    I think however i am now at a place where i need help with wrist timing, especially in the longer driver swing.

    Kerrod, I recently started following you and I keep asking myself why did it take so long. Anyways, I have a huge tendency of my hands trailing my right thigh at p6. I always look at downswing issues and I am starting to think some of the problems are originating in the backswing. I will definitely work on these drills. Thank you.

    Both pf these drills have you starting the golf swing with the hands and arms. While they may give you the correct feeing l of having the hands in front of the chest with the takeaway they can also train the golfer to swing with the hands and arms.

    • @kerrodgraygolf
      @kerrodgraygolf  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Like you said it's a great drill to get the correct feel, as long as you are aware of your hands and arms positioning you should be good to go.

    Hello, great vid!! Can you tell me why, when I swing faster with driver, the ball is low and left? But, when I swing slower, the ball is high and right?? Thanks

      Hard to tell without seeing your swing. Sounds like your club path might need some work. Best of luck!
