I went to this show knowing NOTHING about Jacob. Had never even heard his name before. It literally changed my perspective on life. It was the most outer body, spiritual experience I’ve ever had. So beautiful!!! Thank you for capturing this!
That’s awesome! It was a phenomenal show. He’s grown so much since I started listening to him in 2016. I appreciate him so much an artist because he’s one of the most chaotically versatile, technically-skilled and intelligent musicians out there…yet he imbibes his music with such a deep, poetic human touch that draws you in. Hence why every musician on the planet seems to want to collaborate with him. Plus he has a love for sharing his knowledge with the masses instead of remaining aloof, even going so far as to open up and dissect his Logic sessions for the public. The more I dive into his music, interviews, streams, etc. the richer and more profound the universe seems.
You got the "good" experience. :) the touch of a master reaching out to the one who needed it most. Its as vibrant at his shows as the stories of old legendary musicians.
Dear JAKOB I simply cannot find the words to describe what a unique musician and person you are. In every note you play I feel love, warmth, cosmopolitanism and and and ‼️ Once again, I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart Take care of yourself and please stay exactly as you are Greetings from Schweiz🇨🇭
Only Bobby McFerrin years ago. While a very different performer than Jacob, McFerrin too led his audiences on musical journeys full of love and fun and wonder. But I love Jacob and his work so much!
I went to the Melbourne concert in December 2022 and like others here was absolutely blown away. I actually think that he could have done more audience sing along stuff than what he did. I left the show wanting more.
Thank you! Finding Jacob's latest live cover versions on TH-cam is such a treasure trove. And hearing the responses of his audiences helps to rekindle my belief in humanity.
People young enough to be my kids frequently know who he is, but not people my age. I keep telling people my age they need to know who this guy is. This is astonishing.
absolutely ridiculous, love that he seems to just totally keep everyone and himself in the moment, unconcerned about the fact it's been 16mins 🤣❤️ thanks for sharing
i love how it's very intuitive when the audience should do something (clap, repeat after him, stop singing), but one of my biggest pet peeves is when an audience starts cheering in the middle of a performance. these shows are an exception because he turns it into a long piece, and there are clear breaks where everyone cheers, but loud cheering (things like "whoo!," "yeah!" poking out, just interrupts the performance)
People should, at least once in their lives, attend an evening of classical music presented by their nearest philharmonic orchestra and an evening at a jazz concert. The non-stop hooting and hollering heard at rock music venues doesn’t happen at jazz and classical music concerts. I’m not saying that hooting and hollering is a bad thing. It just has its time and place. It’s best to learn what’s appropriate.
Watching the videos, I also find that some people behave more and more as if they were attending this kind of TV show/competition where people perform for 3 minutes and the audience screams - "on command" in fact - at the slightest leg in the air for more than 3 seconds, rather than at a concert by an exceptional artist. It's easy to recognize the musicophile audiences from the others, by the way.
Thank you so much for posting this. Great singing for sure, and those dual screens really enhance the show. Breathtaking and mindblowing, great to see these tour videos.
This was very awesome. I wish he would have done this one in Portland. Don’t get me wrong, Lean On Me which he did for us was still very cool. Great video man.
As I watch your wonderful videos, I keep falling in love with them. Whether it's a coincidence or a relationship according to the algorithm, your video appears on my TH-cam window and I'm watching your video like a dream. The moment I saw it for the first time, it made my heart flutter. Thank you so much for watching your valuable videos on such a fine day with clouds floating in the blue sky. As you try to achieve success on TH-cam, there are only a lot of difficulties, but you can only achieve it if you always make a firm resolve that you will do it again someday. Your video makes my heart flutter because I have a feeling that I will soon receive a lot of love. I liked your video, especially because it was impressive and natural. Another happiness came from having TH-cam while I was living. However, working with TH-cam videos is like standing alone in a windy expanse. You have the ability to make your videos instantly stunning and attractive. I would like to thank the algorithm that made it possible to watch good videos, and I hope that you will succeed as you have worked hard for your dreams. This morning, I opened a TH-cam window to find pretty videos. Where did your striking image come from? An unknown and mysterious algorithm led me here.
This must be great when you're there, must be great doing it (Jacob) but must be awesome to see and hear when you wrote this song, I hope all writers do if still alive, it brings me a lot of happyness. As the originals do.
Thanks for posting this! Different cover every night. It was 'I'm not in love' in Manchester UK last night, chosen because 10cc were a local band. He's in Gateshead this evening, which is North East England, so am guessing maybe some Sting?
From 5.35-6.20 is utterly spellbinding. I have replayed it at least 20 times. His tone! Jacob, if you're watching... Can you make a song from that clip?
Yes it was an improvisation. I don’t know if he did this at the LA show, but he told us that he covered a different song every show without any rehearsal and just did it on the spot. I’m curious if I can find any recordings of the other improv covers he did at the other concerts.
Hilarious to watch, unbearable to listen to. Go back to mommy's basement, put on your pj's, and watch sesame street, while mommy makes you a glass of warm milk.

I'm so happy for you.
You witnessed the Mozart of the millennium and you did it " blind".
How lucky you are.
You got the "good" experience. :) the touch of a master reaching out to the one who needed it most.
Its as vibrant at his shows as the stories of old legendary musicians.
please never vote Republican 💜🏆
How can he play all the music he doesn't own?
Dear JAKOB
I simply cannot find the words to describe what a unique musician and person you are.

Once again, I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart
Take care of yourself and please stay exactly as you are

The audience becomes his instrument. He conduct them. They respond to him and find themselves part of the performance. Jacob is amazing.
Who else has an entire audience singing as an inclusive part of his act pretty amazing
Only Bobby McFerrin years ago. While a very different performer than Jacob, McFerrin too led his audiences on musical journeys full of love and fun and wonder.
But I love Jacob and his work so much!
Wonderfull!!,I was 16 years first time I lestened this music!!!,this musicien is amazing!!,I thank God HE IS ALIVE!!!@
I wonder how many people who came to the show knew they were about to go to church.
This is absolutely incredible
CHURCH Is EVIL ! We are here for HUMANS !!! FUCK RELIGION !!!
I went to the Melbourne concert in December 2022 and like others here was absolutely blown away. I actually think that he could have done more audience sing along stuff than what he did. I left the show wanting more.
It's Nashville and the audience are utterly mesmerised, This is incredible.
Music being transformative & talking to everybody that brings joy & happiness. A great talent & fun to watch. Glad I found you.
Thank you! Finding Jacob's latest live cover versions on TH-cam is such a treasure trove. And hearing the responses of his audiences helps to rekindle my belief in humanity.
Same here! Thank you @Carter Datz for sharing!
Music burns all cynicism from your soul.
People young enough to be my kids frequently know who he is, but not people my age. I keep telling people my age they need to know who this guy is. This is astonishing.
Jesus christ protect this man at all costs
It's magic. Actual magic.
Jacob Collier is MUSIC.
"What's the lyrics?" Oh my heart!😂
Was the most amazing show ever - thanks for capturing this moment
absolutely ridiculous, love that he seems to just totally keep everyone and himself in the moment, unconcerned about the fact it's been 16mins 🤣❤️ thanks for sharing
No words. Just breathtaking!
This was Gold Standard!
I just love how much fun he is having up there. Its so freeing :D
Full body chills just incredible shit

Yeah, I agree, it's super annoying, like ''shut up and listen to this masterpiece''

@@TenMinuteTrips I'm not saying you're wrong, but it definitely happens in jazz during solos.

Can’t wait to live moments like these when he comes to Brazil!
I swear he is a well with a bottom less pool of magic.
I think I can see myself in this shot! I was about 5 people from the front, by the piano. Incredible show!
this an absolute masterpiece. Thank u for sharing it !!!
Thank you! What a magic moment....
best show of my life this was incredible
damn, that's one of the best ones i've seen so far. you can tell it's a town full of musos, the audience choir sections were beautiful!
15:10 - 15:16 goosebumps. That crowd is amazing!!
3:30 Love it 🥺
Thank you so much for posting this. Great singing for sure, and those dual screens really enhance the show. Breathtaking and mindblowing, great to see these tour videos.
Fantastic thanks!
He should play Kvothe from Name of the Wind if it gets adapted
This was very awesome. I wish he would have done this one in Portland. Don’t get me wrong, Lean On Me which he did for us was still very cool. Great video man.
The collapse into cacophony around 9:50 is such an interesting juxtaposition with what the words are about.
Thank you so much for posting this! 😊

I can hear inspiration from Daft Punk's Digital Love!!! 😍
I look forward to when he is touring again. Would love to see him do “Can’t Take My Eyes Off Of You in Melbourne.
Thank you!!!
Thank you. I had hoped some footage from tonight would end up on here. Phew.

He played the most incredible version of Caledonia by Dougie MacLean in Glasgow on Saturday night. Very emotional indeed.
Oh my god !!!
Unreal
indeed nutrition and delicion
Woah
Could just be me being crazy, but im pretty sure 9:10 he plays the same chord that he held for so long on "the sun is in your eyes"

It’s gorgeous! If you haven’t seen them yet, he used some similar harmonies in the Hallelujah and Fix You videos I transcribed.
@@carterdatz thanks! I'll check those out.
11:46 wow, that litteraly was a "one more time" lyrics on a "digital love" musical background
It's I thank God your alive sorry had to correct 💯
Great recording! Did you video any other songs, hopefully "Tennessee Waltz"? :)
sadly we missed that one 😩
th-cam.com/video/x7whjsCbnb4/w-d-xo.html I gotchu :)

I kinda prefer this version to what he put on the album

lol ok grandpa
I didn't get that in LA

I would have loved to have him do this in Portland. We got Lean On Me, still very cool though. What new cover song did you guys get in L.A.?
@@OcculiMortis some jazz standard
@@KentoSky right on.
He did And So It Goes in Boston. And his song with Lizzie cause she was in town I guess?

Do you know if theres any footage of all of blackbird from this night?
I’m sure someone has it, but I didn’t get it. Sorry!
Was someone tuning the note at 8:38 just to check? lmao
professional musician step next in "meshover" as weirds wars of music P can taken in social red specially TH-cam
Oh wait, he's always in his pj's. LOL
I'd love to listen to these encores wothout the annoying audience making all kinds of noises, pretending they're cool.
Hilarious to watch, unbearable to listen to. Go back to mommy's basement, put on your pj's, and watch sesame street, while mommy makes you a glass of warm milk.
