      @@pho-kingsoup8126 True. Russian decline:
3 million people left or died in Russia 2022.
The amount of inhabitants was 140 million beginning of 2023. 2021 the amount decreased by 800 000.

The pace of decrease might be faster now when Putin started a war and downfall of economics for decades. 1990's caused a huge demographic dent in russian population. To make it even worse Putins war has a ethnic clensing factor, when mobilisation is targeted to countryside where ethnicities live. Same though happened also in 1930's when ethnicities were most targeted by Stalins terror.
Russia is only country which has not faced its responsibility of starting WWII. They were allies of nazi Germany 1938-1941 and divided eastern Europe to spheres of influnce and invaded eastern European countries. Putin is just repeating acts of Hitler and Stalin.😔
Germany will be in 30-70 years bigger country than Russia by inhabitans.😌 Russias significance as a economic power of the size of Spain or Italy today will degrease even further.Maybe it will be like Poland or less soon..😌

I feel fairly confident that this is a prevalent notion throughout all "western" democracies. I also remember that as I approached the age of eighteen, I was aware that on achieving adulthood there came some benefits, but also RESPOSIBILITY. I had a civil DUTY, It seems to me that the vast majority of the peoples of the Russian Federation, whilst calling themselves patriots, have shirked their OBLIGATIONS to their nation. With all their bluster and bravado, with all of the opportunities they have been given, with the natural resources at their disposal, with the foreign investment availed to them, they should be ashamed of themselves!

Great videos and so informative Mr. Orain. One Russian explains it so very well why Russia is as it is. Quote From Your Fine Video. "Why people leave Russia and don’t come here. It’s because of the political situation of the country. What situation? Everybody know what I’m talking about. No one would leave if all was well. We could live as well as in the U.S. and Western Europe, but unfortunately we are totally f***ked. How did this happen? It happened because of the lack of civil society. Politicians drive people apart even though people are actually quite nice. This is a tragedy for Russians and a tragedy for the country." My thoughts next. I can't say I'm glad about that as really human issues anywhere in the world affect the health of humanity and the earth. As I live more seasons on earth I realize more and more over time that first should come our Humanity for one another. Working to resolve issues without inflicting harm on others.

Many Russian-Germans sympathize with Putin because they still remember the bad Yeltsin years. But that was 25 years ago, since then Putin has had enough time to solve the problems. Better than devastating is not necessarily good. The Russians themselves must decide how to proceed. Immigrating is always difficult no matter where you go, because you are on the bottom of the social order. Immigrating may be somewhat better for you if you go to a country with much greater opportunity, but it will be infinitely better for your children and grandchildren born in your new country. I am always thankful that my grandparents and great grandparents immigrated to the US and faced all the hardships so we could have a much better life.

Not always true. An educated immigrant who is fluent in the language of the country they're moving to will not be on the bottom of the social order... in fact, many of them are extremely upwardly mobile.

@@kabardinka1 They can make good incomes especially with significant education. That is why I said social order and not economic order. Immigrants will never have the common background of their native neighbors. If they are lucky they will live in communities with large immigrant populations and can make friends with other immigrants. My wife immigrated from Russia as a Computer Engineer in the 1990s. She has always complained that it is almost impossible to get inside American friendship clicks. She has only had one good American friend who she actually met in Russia when her friend’s father worked in the US Embassy in Moscow. She was the one who actually planted the seed in my wife’s head to consider immigration. Because of her friendship with the American woman she met in Moscow she was under the false impression that she would be able to form many close friendships with a lot of American women. That hasn’t been true. While she has tried over and over the lack of a common background always seems to be in the way. The American women aren’t bigots in any way they are just aloof. So all my wife’s friends are other immigrants some from Russia but many from all over the world other Europeans, South Americans, and Asians. She has an immigrant menagerie of friends.
Even my own sisters have never tried to be her friend and it has severely disappointed me, damaging my relationship with them.

I feel very sorry and sad for the Russian people. It seems that people over there are lost. They have no sense of true freedom and inner happiness like in other free countries. The damages resulted from the soviet era and the transitional corrupt Russian regimes in the 90s followed by the Putin regime are so deep that I have little faith how the Russians will come out of this and join the rest of the world again. Most of the countries of the world dislike Russia (sadly). Russia needs to start a cultural revolution at a deep core psychological level. This is indeed a tragedy not only for the Russians but also and especially for humanity at large. To prosper globally we need free and just societies all over the world.

it is the West that surrounds Russia, does not allow it to develop and fully encouraged the corrupt regime that was in the 90s. Then Putin grew out of all this and the West began its policy of doing maximum harm to the Russian people and their development. All this is politics and we will resist to the last in order to protect our country from NATO and the threats posed by the West

Do you not realize that Putin never said nor cared if Finland joined?😂 He has been saying and has repeatedly stated that it is Ukraine that will not be apart and never will be, and that is a move that has been forced on him over the last nine years. He has not cared what Finland does, though of course it’s likely not something he would prefer. NATO is incredibly divided in Europe on an insular level.

The Pentagon usually takes what it wants anyway, but it's hard to imagine though when Ukraine has more casualties than the US in WW2 and the Bakhmut western side/city center was taken by Wagner yesterday, and there is now one bridge into the city, other NATO nations will not join the fight and support is majorly weaning, even in the US. The head US 4 Star General just said "unlikely Ukraine will take back any land ("this year", to put his little political spin on it) and Zelensky saying last week his forces are "virtually out of ammo." Switzerland and Austria also both announced it is no longer formally supporting Kyiv. What an idiot. And you want to take the bet that it will join when Putin said he will use the nuclear option if it does, and guess what? When he does, it won't be on Ukraine, no, no, no. He has no intention of that. It would the major western European and North American targets.
