That part. I'm in food service nd see kids of all ages including 15-18 year olds too shy to interact with society. Give the kids the attention they deserve cause it's an experiance they will either remember forever or forget but in a great experience over a bad is always the goal no matter what service industry we as adults work in.
My biggest pet peeve is when people ignore children, and when they DO talk to them, they treat them like idiots and speak to them like, well, children. Speak to your kids with language just as you would an adult, their intelligence will grow more efficiently and they will become very knowledgable.

It's ridiculous when it comes to safety. People don't know that there is rules for a reason. I had it one time when saying no to a customer but they did it anyway because the parent was a 50 year old 7ft giant who dosnt listen and ignore me when going down a night ass slide. In that situation there is literally nothing you can do because it will be too late by the time you reach the nearest radio and our management is dog 💩.

I worked in a laser tag place that taught us the philosophy that Disney followed. It honestly made my day every time I could do something special for a kiddo. Especially to avoid disappointment, I gave out tons of icys to kids that were too short for stuff.
disney does things that should be expected of companies in the entertainment industry. accommodating for children or disabled people shouldn’t be a taboo thing, all companies should follow the logic. it’s the best of both worlds- the guests are happy and the company makes money.

This ride is closing in January anyways. Dino land is getting demolished to make way for The Amazon jungle, Latin America park with Indiana Jones and Encanto .

Even if the little girl was tall enough, that right is freaking rough. This is a warning to parents that that ride is really jerky and it hurts an adult neck so imagine a child’s.
How nice of them to do this! Many years before, the french dude in Euro Disney who checked my sister’s height gave her coldest face, did not even say a word other than no. She was around this girl’s age, very disappointed and started crying. I am glad they came up with this approach in US.

The same thing happened to me. I also was in one of these parks but I got a very cruel reaction to when I was super short and told to leave the park because I wouldn't be tall enough for any ride with nice snotty face with it from the worker. So my mom went and bought me shoes with higher soles and I was able to get on. But now I regret it because I've never been short so I missed out when I was a child because I was too tall. I wish I was treated like a kid when I was kid and now that I'm adult and I try to experience life when I was a kid I get shamed and treated harshly...
Ahhh the worst part of any ride instructor's job.. i had no problem telling the obese adults that they were too big, but the little ones broke my heart 😭
Not to ruin the magic but this is a great marketing tactic to encourage the family to go back to the resort for another vacation when the kid is tall enough
@christopherc5570 There isn't any extra fee or membership needed to use any of the rides' height certificates. You get to keep them after you use them with the date on it as a keepsake. Can't wait to have a kid so I can fill a scrapbook up

But if you're planning on using a height certificate, chances are you've already planned another trip & took care of the admission for your party. You can bring food into the parks, and many people do. I think the only things you can't take in are things kept in glass containers. You can even bring in small coolers.

When i was a little one like that, my grandpa bought me a hat and stuffed it and my shoes full of toilet paper to make me tall enough. The guy caught us but it was worth a shot 😂 ill never forget it!
