Unfortunately, it did not rub off on me and I didn't come to enjoy it (sorry Dad!), but the memories were still priceless and lovely ❤ Shout out to all the Dads that take their time to share their hobbies to their daughters!

I hope to be a dad like this one day. I wanna live away from cities, have nice land, grow crops and teach my kids about it. We can go hiking and fishing and look at people lakes and mountains

My Dad passed away earlier this year and I couldn't help but see myself and my Dad in this video. To me it cheapens nothing. The only thing that "cheapens" it is focusing on anything but what he tried to convey as the point....

The best memories I have are of my Dad taking me up to London. Just me and him. We would go up on the train, walk through London seeing all the sites, go to the Museums, and then walk back to the train station and go home. He would take the day off from work (especially so that we could go up during the week and thr tourist areas would be quiet) - it was great sharing those days out with him,he taught me a lot about the things that most people dont see around London. Was always the best day. Funny, i rarely remember the trip home, probably fell asleep due to all the walking we did. Those memories are Priceless and worth more than anything money could buy! Nice to know there are other great dads in the world.

Yeah squeezing your daughter for cash from making online videos, isn't a standard I'd lower myself to, being there to provide and care for my kids is something I'm concerned with, not catering to an audience ☺️
@@internetuser969 ngl she seemed happy, no? how is it any different to using ur money to cater to an audience, ur family, ur pets, your skills, its called content and its always gonna base around something, funny cat videos, super duper cool climbing skills, family videos, and lets not forget that he is her dad, he pays the bills and pays for his daughter's life, and he does it happily, no strings attatched, but so what if he makes a nice family video, posts it on yt and makes a little cash out of it, some people like watching these wholesome clips and when she grows up, if she is raised as well as it looks, she wont think 'ugh, how dare he record me and use me for views.' also, squeezing for cash? what the hell are you talking about, does she look at all pressured or concerned about this?
@@justascrub8383 oh it's fine using your skills, and sure if you want to just record your cat, that animal is never going to reach a point in they're life where they realised they were used for the purposes of making content to make cash, I personally put a child's right to privacy above a cat's. As for not seeming pressured we honestly have no idea what's going on behind the scenes, I doubt this was all done in one take so very easy to chuck any clips where they don't are unhappy, though maybe currently the child is ok with it, as they don't really know what the implications are of these family youtubers (sadly their best consumers are... VERY interested in children) then the idea that daddy took her out for a camping trip, not for her sake, but the sake to display it to his audience, kind of has a messed up Truman show aspect to ones childhood. Ultimately looks can be deceiving, so you just have to ask, is he doing this special camping trip purely for his daughter, or was it for a TH-cam video?
@@internetuser969 ok so i will first say that no, we dont know what behind the scenes and i have no way to argue that because im not there, but i also never said it's purely for his daughter, or denied that maybe he makes a bit of cash out of it, its a bloody child of course she will be unhappy at points, maybe when discomforted, why would he add them in when it doesn't mean that she hates being there. As a first year outdoor adventure student around the coast, trips like this where they just camp can be a core memory and a reason why we do our outdoor activities, Alex Honnold, the one who free soloed El Captain, a bloody legend, he was climbing since he was 5, he didnt just think, oh, lets go climb a mountain 2,300 metres high because why not, but because it was a memory in his childhood. This may very well be some kinda content only thing for content, but it didnt seem to me like he was giving her any discomfort. We NEED kids to go outside with their families to get active rather than staying in front of a screen all day playing fortnite and screaming on a mic bc you died. Just because of that i can tell he is doing better at showing her the world than any of those parents who allow their kids to do that. You say it as if the child is being stripped and put on an illegal porn site when you say you value her privacy, that would be a differnt story altogether.
I love dads that don't treat their daughter like some porcelain dolls ❤ That's how you educate a strong and natural woman who knows what she wants. I am thankful to have a dad like this ❤
❤ I'm almost 60 but still have snippets of memories from preschool age of dad pulling me on a sled all over our property during a snowstorm, visiting a trout pond teaching me to fish, and cuddling with him in his big chair reading. Little things. But yes they will remember.
This is beautiful. Even if she doesn't explicitly remember this experience, it's reinforcing the idea that Dad can support her & keep her safe, no matter what new & potentially intimidating circumstances, she might find herself in. & that's priceless! ❤
Just some of the lucky few. Unfortunately theres alot of bad dads in the world who are very violent to their wives and daughters, just because they are born with two X chromosomes.
Hopefully it doesn't turn out 5 years down the line that this kid has been abused while making these videos like so many of these types of content creators that make realistic seeming heartwarming videos, but are ultimately about squeezing money from their child while their still cute
@@crybabyjuggalette it unfortunately happens, the better quality the vid the more takes the kid was told to do in order to make a satisfactory clip for his audience

Yeah squeezing your daughter for cash from making online videos, isn't a standard I'd lower myself to, being there to provide and care for my kids is something I'm concerned with, not catering to an audience ☺️
Mhm
