For some reason this teaching caused me to remember the time I was playing checkers. I was playing with a neighbor we were both about 18. It was to be 3 games. I took my time, and after a few minutes he got mad and banged his fist on the table,and looked at me and said "your just trying to win aren't you", I said well yes I am. I made some bad moves in the next 2 games and he won the match and was very happy. And so was I. It's the same thing you were talking about, he was accusing me of trying to win, because that's what he was trying to do. I wasn't even a christian but I knew kindness won that day.
