@engineer775 Why would Paul be writing only to Gentile proselytes and not Gentiles as a whole given Paul is the apostle of the Gentiles (Rom 11:13)? What verse would suggest this?
@@ColumbusBibleChurch "...otherwise thou also shalt be cut off." The only way to get around this phrase is to change this from being about individuals, to being about dispensational systems. There seems to be many different views amongst Mid-Acts believers regarding Romans 9-11. The 11th chapter of Romans speaks of Gentiles being cut off for unbelief in verses 19-21, yet 2 Timothy 2:13 says, If we believe not, [yet] he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself. (KJB) How can Romans 11:19-21 be referring to the body of Christ since we are sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise until the day of redemption and our unbelief does not affect our eternal position in Christ?
@dalhuset If any member of the BOC falls into unbelief he is still eternally saved because Jesus cannot deny Himself. He'll probably lose some rewards at the judgement seat of Christ though!!. Romans 11: 19-21 that you mentiond are concerning the Jews that rejected Christ not Gentiles.
The Body of Christ is NOT grafted in. That's the bottom line. Teachers and preachers attempting to bend chapter 11 into such ideas (whether a "system of dispensation" or particular individuals [being cut off]), will only ever run into contradiction within right-division camps. Roots, trees, stocks, branches, etc. are all EARTHLY programs. There's only ever been one kind of Gentile within earthly program, that being a proselyte (partaker).
It’s not referring to the Body of Christ, it’s referring to Gentiles. Basically, Paul it letting Gentiles know that they too will be cut off just like unbelieving Israel was cut off from coming to God if they think of themselves being high minded and need God. Israel was the natural branches and they were cut off by unbelief, and when this dispensation of grace ends Gentiles will be cut off, meaning having access to God by grace through faith alone in Christ alone. Paul’s not referring to The Body of Christ which is made up of both believing Israel and believing Gentiles today. Technically I shouldn’t be referring to them as believing Israel and believing Gentiles because there’s neither one a separate party, we’re one in Christ.
@@rightlydivideWoT I agree that the body of Christ is eternally saved, and cannot lose salvation. I also believe the King James Bible is correct and does not contain errors. So who are those being warned not to boast? They appear to be the wild olive graf and lack of belief is warned against lest they be spared not. Who is the “thou” of verse 24? Back in verse 12 it’s Gentiles who benefit from Israel’s fall. In verse 13, Paul magnifies his office. Wouldn’t that make these passages about the current dispensation of Grace? In verse 30 the “ye” obtain mercy through Israel’s unbelief. That also seems to be referring to the dispensation of grace. The only verse referencing the end of the dispensation of grace is 25.

If we take Romans 10: 9,10, 13 at face value for the body of Christ then we don't need to believe in the death for sins, burial and resurrection as described in 1 Corinthians 15: 1-4. I still believe Paul is speaking about how Isreal is saved. And just because he doesn't mention water baptism, we can't really go by that.... because if Paul is speaking to the BOC, then he doesn't mention the death for sins, he was buried and rose again on the 3rd day. As you can see not every Bible verse is complete with all the information. But Romans chapters 9 10 11 seem to be out of sync with the rest of Paul's teaching to the body of Christ.

@@ColumbusBibleChurchI’m not surprise with that argument, that’s what I always heard from the evangelical and fundamentalist, that they have absolute assurance of salvation right? all they have to do is “accept” Christ as their personal savior, and it’s done, but wait a minute, scriptures that one’s final salvation depends on the state of the soul at death, as Jesus himself tells us,”he who endures to the end will be saved”( Matthew 24:13 cf. 25:31-46 ),one who dies in the state of friendship with god ( the state of grace ) will go to heaven, the one who dies in a state of enmity and rebellion against god ( the state of mortal sin )will go hell, in addition to this, such individual was Paul, writing at the end of his life, “I have fought the good fight, i have finished the race, i have kept the faith, henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the lord, the righteous judge, will reward to me on that day” 2 Timothy 4:7-8, but earlier in life, even Paul did not claim an infallible assurance, either of his present justification or of his remaining in grace in future, concerning his present state, he wrote, “I am not aware of anything against myself, but I am not thereby ( Greek, dedikaiomai ), it is the lord who judge me” 1 Corinthians 4:4, concerning his remaining life, Paul was frank in admitting that even he could fall away, “I pummel my body and subdue it, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified” 1 Corinthians 9:27, of course, for a spiritual giant such Paul, it would be quite unexpected and out of character for him to fall from god’s grace, nevertheless, he points out that, however, much confidence in his own salvation he may be warranted in feeling, even he cannot be infallibly sure either of his own present state or his future course, so the same is true of us, we can, if our lives display a pattern of perseverance and spiritual fruit, have not only a confidence in our present state of grace but also of our future perseverance with god, yet we cannot have an infallible certitude of our salvation, there is a possibility of self-deception ( cf. Matthew 7:22-23 ),there is also the possibility of falling from grace through mortal sin, and even of falling away from the faith entirely, for as Jesus told us, there are also who “believe for a while and in time of temptation fall away” Luke 8:13, it is in the light of these warnings and admonitions that we must understand scripture’s positive statements concerning our ability to know and have confidence in our salvation, assurance we may have; infallible certitude we may not, for example, Philippians 2:12 says, “therefore, my beloved, as you have already obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling,” this is not the language of self-confident assurance, our salvation is something that remains to be worked out, are you saved? ask the fundamentalist, well, the right answer, as the Bible says, I am already saved, Romans 8:24, Ephesians 2:5-8, but I’m also being saved, 1 Corinthians 1:18, 2 Corinthians 2:15, Philippians 2:12, and I have the hope that I will be saved, Romans 5:9-10, 1 Corinthians 3:12-15, like the apostles Paul I am working out my salvation in fear and trembling, Philippians 2:12, with hopeful confidence in the promises of Christ, Romans 5:2, 2 Timothy 2:11-13
