www.amygrant.com/ Amy Grant & Vince Gill in Nashville Tn on April 7, 2011 for a fund raiser for the Mental Health Association of Middle Tennessee. www.vincegill.com
@dadsgirl0423: Maybe you should check your facts. Amy's first husband had substance abuse issues, and their marriage was dead because of that! She and Vince met during the time they were getting divorces. Yes, divorce even happens to Christians sometimes! God is her judge, not you!
@dadsgirl0423 There are about 5 songs in Vince's albums that were released in 1991 through 2011 Vince expresses indirectly but strong belief in commitment for a marriage that are consistent in all of them. The last song of this type is in "Guitar Slinger" released in 2011 called "Tell Me Fool". When Vince had a show with Sting in 2011 for the Crossroads in NY, they both agreed that albums of a song writer is like a biography of his own life. I agree. I have most of his albums now and it is interesting to listen to them with that in mind. Since he never believes in directing his fans toward his belief but he has certainly expressed his feelings about what was going on in his life. When the message is consistent it becomes believable especially you hear his explanation on how these songs came about. A song like "I Still Believe In You" tells me that he truly believed these lyrics, however, it take two to make it happen. Especially when you read a statement by a well known song writer, Max D. Barnes, who co-wrote with Vince "Look At Us". He wrote about Vince in a liner of Vince's album "Souvenir": "He is a kind of a man you would hope your daughter would marry or your son would grow up to be".
I just love them both to death. I grew up in a strict Christian home and Amy's music and discovered Vince right out of college. Became a bit of a hell raiser myself, but their music got me through some very tough times. Real people...amazing talents...and I am a truely grateful fan of them both separately and together. They are just the kind of people you could sit and talk and laugh for hours. Amazing!!!!
I have been marred, abused, got out and I will wait (impatiently).......and BELIEVE that God has a special love for all of us. I believe it with all I have, all I am..I am waiting doing it God ways this time! Blessings to Amy and Gill...He hears prayer. He is our judge, never will I do His work. I AM WAITING on my prayers to be answered. thank you to a living GOD
God loves the truth - when we are hurting, He wants to know, and it is not complaining. Just tell the Father how you are hurting, emotional and physically. He wants to know. He is the best Counselor.
God is the truth. He gives us the free will to build our lives for better or worse. How dare people judge other people's lives. It is in their own will to succeed or fail and we learn by the consequences of our own actions. That is HIS supreme lesson of life for us. Life is a learning and continuous learning.
You have no idea what you are talking about. Do you know them personally, I bet not, so, if you do not, keep your mouth closed. You have no idea of the truth of either relationship. God has blessed Vince and Amy in so many ways. You are not their judge and you have no right to speak of either of them.

they met a long time before either of them were getting divorces. But I think they're great any way.

Maybe you shouldn't be so serious. Dont try so hard and enjoy a funny story.

@USMCMIAMI OH WOW AND I SHOULD BE IMPRESSED HARDLY. IT WOULD TAKE ALOT MORE THAN YOU TO IMPRESS ME.
@USMCMIAMI MAYBE SHE SHOULD HAVE PAID ACCOLADES TO HER FIRST MARRIAGE AND LEFT VINCE AND HIS WIFE ALONE.
