    One thing I have noted and it’s just a suggestion. The utility blade that is attached to fingernail and toe clippers is fairly good for prying open the fob if the default fob key is too much of a hassle too deal with.

    Good to know, seems like the 2032 is the standard battery for these key fobs regardless of make. Thanks for sharing 👍🏽

    Use a flat blade to separate the fob

    And does the fob have to be reprogrammed after replacing the battery? Or do you just change the battery and that’s it

    • @TheCamaroCave
      @TheCamaroCave  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That’s it! We did not have to reprogram anything

    You mentioned the sixth generation key fob. Why did you show a different shaped fob? That was very confusing.

    does the emergency key also start the car or no

      @TheCamaroCave  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      No so if your fob dies, on your 6th gen Camaro pop out that key from the fob, unlock the door, open it, be ready for the alarm to engage, but the fob in the rear cup holder and press the start button and the car will start and the alarm will stop. All done. Go get a battery for your fob! We will do a video for you. On this. This would be good info for everyone.
