Excellent Video. I am staring at my T Maxx trying to make up my mind what to do. There so damn much fun.

Damn Tony. That truck is looking good and like it's brand new. I wouldn't be surprised if someone would be interested in buying it from you! :). At least they will know it's done right!

And I might sell it, if I owned it. But it's not my truck, it's my brother in law's truck.

You can use shrink wrap for the wires coming out of the servos..

Does this make the servos respond better??

Nice video. I’m pretty sure square cutout in the grey recurved box is for the opti drive unit included on the newer trucks. By the way, where did you purchase the grey box from? I want to get one for my E maxx to keep my receiver a bit more protected.

That could be it, sucks that I can't use it though. And I picked it up at my local HobbyTown. www.Rc-Help.com

What batteries does that box take?

Stock it is 4 AA size batteries. You can also use a LiFe pack that is made as a "Receiver Pack" in there. IMO, the LiFe is more powerful, and has a larger storage capacity and will last longer, but does cost a bit more. www.Rc-Help.com

Dude! Your receiver box is the size of a bushel basket. Your receiver is the size of a peck basket. Why not just tuck the wires inside the receiver box, and skip all the soldering? It would be a lot quicker, and definitely a lot easier.
