A no-hitter is just that for nine innings or more. Walks or errors happened. A perfect game means you put out 27 batters in a row.

Beesely, it's funny that you said " the Cubs have a lot of success" because until they won the World Series in 2016, their prior WS win was in 1908, a 108 year World series drought in which they were often referred to as " the lovable losers".

6:43 and 8:14 are the same game. Royals won this game to go to the World Series for the 2nd year in a row. 9:28 was the first pitch of that World Series, in which the kc royals ended up winning.

As a Dodgers fan mostly cause I'm from LA almost every LA sports team is the most hated team in each sport, Lakers & Dodgers are the most hated cause people say they buy their players and shit or a toxic fanbase every team had a toxic fanbase and any MLB team will literally trade an all star player for a bag of chips, Dodgers just have good scouting team that's why they managed to pull Mookie Betts, Max Scherzer & Trea Turner in 2 years.

18:14 I was at this game. It was the loudest I ever heard the stadium. Tie game, bottom of the 9th, in a play off game. One of those moments I will never forget.
I look at those ones with the Royals and those put a smile on my face. Those games against the Blue Jays in 2015 that you saw would put us in the World Series that we won for only the second time in 30 years. We were absolutely ecstatic to see it...being so close the year before, then to get there again and win it all the next year, the reaction you saw was all that pent up frustration and heartache being released in a moment that we will likely never forget. And when Escobar made that inside-the-park home run during said world series-as you saw-Kaufman absolutely exploded with noise.
And when the commentator said that Lorenzo Cain could fly...he wasn't exaggerating. He was one of the fastest guys in the league at the time for a man of his size.

During that Cardinals/Rangers game I just got off work and was watching the end. My mom was downstairs watching it. We both were screaming at the top of our lungs lol. Huge Cardinal fans and my mom was crying she was so happy. Best World Series of all time. Game 6 is legendary.
I remember watching that game 6 of the world series Stl vs Tex. When David Freese (playing for his hometown) hits that home run in the grass.....my entire neighborhood, 20 miles from St. Louis ran outside screaming and cheering and fireworks going off. Was amazing.
That Houston vs Dodgers game is from when Houston was later to have been found cheating by stealing signs. They beat the Dodgers for the title and a big scandal happened because of it. The baseball world was in an uproar.

I was there in that stadium when that first clip
Took place. That game was the first playoff game my pirates were in in over two decades. I was only 7 at the time of the game but I still remember the crowd chanting the pitchers name “Cueto”. When Russel Martin hit that home run the stadium was shaking like there was an earthquake because The noise from the crowd was so loud. One distinct thing I remember from that game is that the bathrooms at the stadium were almost completely empty, basically no one left their seats during the game. We did go on to win the game but got eliminated the series after that. We haven’t won a playoff game since that year (2013). The closest we have gotten to the World Series in the past 30 years was the NLDS that year (the round after the wild card game)

I’ve played baseball my whole life the sound of the ball hitting the bat is the most beautiful thing. I recently got my first ever wood bat for my birthday last month. MLB wood bats are mandatory but when you’re a young ball player you use a metal bat for little league and stuff like that but just the sound of the bat is amazing
One of the home run in this was Kirk Gibson of the Dodgers. You should check out (not as a reaction video) just search for that moment in a separate video. What led up to that moment was amazing.
You have to react to MLB stadiums, they are the most interesting of pro stadiums because they are all shapes and sizes. There is no set dimensions for baseball ( except for the infield, they are all 90 feet between each base.) But the size of the outfield and foul territory varies from park to park. You might have a park that is only 320 feet down the line, and another might be 340 down the line. It just depends per team. Teams will usually try to build their team based off the kind of park they play in. Parks where the fences are closer are called "hitters parks" because it is easier to hit home runs versus a "pitchers park" where the fences are farther back and it is harder to score runs. So teams that play in a hitters park will usually go out and get a lot of good hitters to take advantage of this. The teams are also free to change the dimensions of the park as they choose, and that will always happen during the offseason

The new york Mets catcher Mike Piazza hits a home run in the eigth inninng and the crowd which included many firefighters, emts and police that had survived the attack or had been working to rescue people from the rubble of the buildings.

11:30 I was at home watching. I jumped up and started yelling at the top of my lungs and my mom BURST into tears of joy. Literally balling her eyes out she was so excited. Lifelong STL Cardinal fans. That world series is ranked as arguably the greatest world series of all time. Absolutely insane.

15:23 This game was massive as the Rays (the team that won) won the wild card to go to the playoffs on the final day of the season, three MINUTES after the 2nd place wild card team lost theirs. The Rays were down 9 games with about 20 to play.
I was one of the crowd at that 2017 World Series Game that the Astros won 13-12. It was wild. I got home at 1:30 am and I live only 15 minutes away.

Being from St. Louis, I am a die-hard St. Louis Cardinals fan and my two favorite moments in baseball history gives me goosebumps every single time I see them and I never get tired of them. Ozzie Smith winning game 5 of the 1985 NLCS and then David Freese hitting the winning home run in game 6 of the 2011 World Series (which was shown in the video).

Camden yards was so loud when Delmon Young hit the bases clearing double that my ear were still ringing the following morning. I was sitting right there in left field and it was the most insanely happy and energetic crowd I’ve ever experienced.
I was standing outside a bar only a block and a half away from Wrigley Field when 14:47 happened. The people in the stadium combined with all the people outside on the streets cheering at the same time was absolutely insane.

I always find the infield throws, double plays, etc. compilations the most impressive in MLB.
A couple of things about a couple of the moments in this video.
At 10:48 the Texas Rangers were 1 strike away from winning the World Series. Then David Freese, who was from just outside of St. Louis hit a game-tying triple. Then he ended up hitting a game winning homerun to force a 7th game, which the Cardinals also won to win their 11th World Series Championship in 2011. It was one of those moments he probably dreamed of as a kid growing up. Hitting a game winning World Series home run for the Cardinals.
At 15:39 was Game 1 of the 1988 World Series. The batter was Kirk Gibson, a key player for the Dodgers who had injuries to both of his legs. He was up to pinch hit for another player. The batter was Dennis Eckersley, who was the best relief pitcher in baseball at the time. Nobody, even the announcers thought that Gibson had no chance of even playing in that game, much less hitting a home run to win the game.

That astros dodgers world series game you asked about, the astros DID end up winning that world series in 7 games, but it was later found out that the Astros were cheating that season and post season, using a camera to record the other team's catcher who would give signs to the pitcher. The Astros would bang on a trash can to communicate what pitch was going to be thrown leading to a lot more hits and basically knowing what was coming.
Some context on the first video: The pitcher’s name is Johnny Cueto and the crowd was chanting “CUE-TO.” That caused him to drop the ball and eventually give up the home run. I’m a Pirates fan and that’s still my favorite baseball moment so I’m glad you did it!

I was at the Yankees vs Diamondbacks game 5 in 2001 at the 12:11 mark. Down by 2 with a runner on and 2 outs, we thought about leaving for a second lol...When that ball cleared the fence it was chaos, took a minute to find my seat when things calmed down. The night before they did the same thing, tying it in the 9th and then winning. Was just after 9/11, the stadium atmosphere was unlike anything I've ever experienced
There have been 2 no-hitters in the MLB Postseason all-time.
Don Larsen (Yankees pitcher) threw a perfect game in Game 5 of the 1956 World Series against the Brooklyn Dodgers (no one reached base)
And of course Roy Halladay (Phillies pitcher at the time) threw a No-hitter in Game 1 of the 2010 NLDS (National League Divisional Series) against the Cincinnati Reds (Halladay did walk 1 batter)
8:16 the royals win sent them to the World Series it was a 3-2 series 4-2 after the win as you can see in the bottom right corner
The home run hit at the 4:00 mark landed 2 rows behind me. I never left my seat since I was a fan of the opposing team. Still incredible atmosphere to experience

At least during my generation Bees. Soccer is perhaps the first game little children here play nowadays. I have grown up kids but no grand children yet. My kids are 22 and 26. You must see a baseball game. It’s not always this exciting, but it can be. I’ve experienced a few times like this.
Whats cool about having 2 parents not born where u were us that they both have favorite teams so you get to have a few to really root for. Mom loves the Cleveland Indians, dad loves the LA Dodgers. I like the Arizona Diamondbacks so getting to focus on other teams in other parts of the country is fun because they're so different from the division my D-Backs play.
The Indians might be different, but the Dodgers have been whooping the D-Backs for 20 years.
Didn't expect the Dbacks as the second clip. I was there for Game 6 the night before that clip. As an 11 yr old it was crazy, nearly 50k were in attendance. Too bad since then the team has done nothing.
In the first one, they were saying Cueto to taunt him, he dropped the ball then gave up the home run
Edit: in the second one, that home run was in extra innings that won them the series to move on, at 5:24 the home run Travis Ishikawa hit was the home run that won them the NLCS to go to the world series, which the eventually won, the Jose Bautista HR in the ALDS was the tiebreaker and whoever won that game would move on, also the David Freese clips in the WS would win them Gm 6 and would win the WS the next day, the clip at 13:36 was Derek Jeter's final full MLB game, he finished it with a walk off, at 14:48 that double play would send the Cubs to the world series for the first time since 1945, at 18:24 Roy Halladay threw a No-Hitter in the playoffs, basically saying he allowed 0 hits the entire game.

So, the Astros did go on to win that World Series, but they are now disgraced and infamous after being caught cheating. They were stealing the signals the opposing catchers were giving to their pitchers. Meaning, the Astros knew what pitches were coming. Which is a massive advantage for the hitter. It's one of the biggest scandals in baseball history. There are plenty of videos explaining the situation if you're interested.
Stealing signs has been a part of the manly game of baseball for over a hundred years. Man up and stop whining!

A baseball term you can use now for the situation that happened at around 14:52 is a double play. If you got 3 outs back to back its called a triple play. The double and triple play are some of the best moments in baseball

One funny story my dad told me is of his high school pitching days. He has a good curveball and since he was left handed he was more valuable as a pitcher (most batters are right handed so having it come from a weird direction throws them off). Also my dad was known as a somewhat dirty pitcher and was known for spooking the batters with close balls or maybe a hit here and there. He accidentally hit a guy once and got the nickname TKO or Total Knock Out. Its a play in his initials. Patrick Kelly O'Brien PKO.

Both are fantastic and will give you a real feel of baseball. 2016 is one of the most historic and 2011 Game 6 is considered one of the craziest games in World Series history.
