Marvel has had a lot of consistent amazing feats of CGI in their Cinematic Universe(many of them in the SAME movie) but I would actually agree that Rocket Raccoon is the greatest consistent feat of CGI in their movies. I still remember vividly how people were laughing and treating it as a joke when it was announced that Marvel Studios were going to do a Guardians Of The Galaxy movie-a movie in which one of the main characters would be a talking, bipedal alien raccoon with hands with opposing thumbs(real raccoons have paws, not hands and they don`t have opposing thumbs as Rocket Raccoon does) who likes guns, explosive ordinance and is skilled with technology and who can fly space-crafts. But Marvel, as they often do, made it work and one of the reasons I believe it worked, was because of the direction of directors like James Gunn, The Russo Brothers, Joe and Anthony, the performance of Bradley Cooper voicing the character, the performance of the actors reacting TO Rocket and of course, the amazing, hard and dedicated work of all of the special effects people who were involved in bringing Rocket to life. Seeing how the filmmakers have a skeletal structure for Rocket didn`t surprise me at all because that`s the same thing the filmmakers did in the Lord Of The Rings and The Hobbit movies and what most visual effects companies do nowadays when they`re creating characters.

I told that my friend about this, he said prove* it, i told him things in Kingsmen trailer, and after movie release, there was Vfx breakdown video, and i got mostly right. Its very awful and generic these days, the CGI i mean..its very unnatural. there is certain stiffness.

What really surprises me is that Brie had her original Captain Marvel suit on for the entirety of shooting *_Endgame_* (even in the deleted scene of everyone kneeling in honor of Tony's death), when she had two completely different suits in the film.

It’s a CG body double that they line up with the actress so they can correctly simulate CG lighting and object collisions instead of painting and masking light over the suit/skin.
Out of all the VFX BTS studio videos, not one have I seen that covered Thanos. Which VFX studio was mostly in charge of Josh Brolin's CGI as Thanos? I must know!
This is great. But please mention the names of the steps or processes applied as supers on the video. It would add more clarity for someone looking to learn.
They`re paid to act so being in a movie that couldn`t otherwise be made without visual effects, being VFX-ed into the movie counts as part of their job.
