Spotify isn't in a position to offer that type of money to a TH-cam comic. When Spotify gave Joe Rogan $200 million, it was for a decades worth of exclusive content. Flagrant is a medicore podcast at best.

Except I would probably start to listen JRE more often, although his golden age is over for me. Its funny how I started watching almost every single episode 6-7 years ago when he barely hit 200k views, but then he stopped streaming them live and from there it was downhill for me, but Im grateful for all the people he introduced me to and moved on to funnier stuff. Also I think there is a finite amount of time for everyone to hear the same chimp or bob lazar story. I`ve listened to his last one with Tim Dillon (cause of Tim always hilarious on rogan) and I couldn`t believe that he brought that mf up again.

As much as I'm not the biggest Rogan fan, it takes skill to interview people, route the interview to interesting places, not interrupt them, and still make the overall conversation engaging over 2-3 hours. I also respect how comfortable he makes his guests feel. He's a golden example of people's appreciation for long form interviews, and deserves a lot of credit for how he manages his guests.
Schulz can't last 5 minutes before feeling the urge to interrupt his guests with his hackneyed horseshit. He's also a way bigger egotist than Rogan and that's a poor sign for any interviewer.

Spotify gave Joe the offer they did because it was a unique moment in history. They wanted to get into podcasting and diversify from being just a music streaming site. And it worked. Hey Cringe, this was a gr8 vid in at least a couple of ways. Simply stating that the majority of Bro Brats featuring Schultzy in this one could really benefit from just taking the time to look in the mirror and see if they recognise the reflection in the mirror anymore. The ego is and can be very helpful for our lives, when kept in check. When the ego runs wild and completely out of touch it creates a near cartoonish type villain and that's where people, including myself 5 years ago, lose touch with what created the success. Humility in some form can definitely help these creators in the long run, while still being accepting and grateful for the success. Long comment for YT but happy to get inspired to comment from the vid. Merry Christmas legend 🎉

But these guys don’t deserve it cause they haven’t earned it, same for half the guys you’ve covered, you gotta be doing insanely well socially, and even then people still need to check themselves,…
Like the other half of people covered on this channel…
Stay humble, the success is earned, as is the recognition, it’s not bought.

I might be wrong, but it´s possible that Schulz wasn´t being delusional when he said he would want 300 mil to do a contract like Rogan´s. The way I heard him, he was possibly complementing Rogan´s massive volume of work by saying something like "I couldn´t do it, I would hypothetically need at least 300 mil to do that insane amount of work".
