Hey, HDMI 1.4 supports gaming at 1080p 120hz. You will get the 120hz on PS5 & Xbox as long as your console is set at 1080p. No need for HDMI 2.1, that is just for gaming at 4K 120hz.
maybe this tip will help any of you guys if you are playing on pc . I have high end pc and while playing Fortnite had same issues in fps drops or even when its high you wont get high performance . the solution is to switch to DirectX 11 . you will get more fps + stable gameplay .
Bruh the PC performance part hits too close to home. I have a Raedon 6700xt and an I9 and I still get shit frames. I’ve messed around with so much stuff and I still have issues. I actually get worse performance on performance mode too!
@@MitchGames247his makes me happy to see because a couple months back I thought it was me doing something wrong. Turns out, it wouldn’t make sense with a 3070 ti FE and a ryzen 5600.
It's not the PC fault I have high end graphics card it's just fortnite settings because they insert console settings to PC which dont go together so I suggest getting console instead and use keyboard and mouse if you want
I’ve only ever played on ps 2, 3 and 4, I feel like unless you want to be a pro or streamer, it’s best to just go with console. But I’m sure it’s just as fun on pc
My brothers PC has better graphics, but the FPS varies more than my Xbox s which has a consistent FPS of 120. I play controller on both, both with the same controller settings, but for some reason I’m worse on the PC. What’s up with that? We have different monitors, could it be input lag? Cause they don’t feel the same even though the settings are the same
I don't get why your pc is struggling with fortnite tbh, but these consoles are pretty powerful. I play ps5, series x, and on pc and I prefer series x and pc for fortnite. Hopefully you get it running better on pc. You don't need hdmi 2.1 for the new consoles to get 120fps. That's if you want 4k and up to 120fps. You can use hdmi 2.0 on series x and get 120fps at 1440p but ps5 doesn't have 1440p support that's why I think series x is better for fortnite. If you use ps5 for fortnite on 1440p monitor you are only getting 1080p
@@tibodoz6159 yeah, I have a ps5 and a RTX 3090 and I have a 240hz monitor. I get 700-1000fps on pc and 120fps on console just a little tip if you play on 4K on ps5 you get more aim assist and no recoil because it makes icons smaller which means less bloom on your crosshair

Hey, idk what you play on now pc or console. I would suggest using high meshes performance mode. It will make your game run better than normal and won’t look like mobile. I do agree kind of tho, I just switched to pc and can run up to 500 fps uncapped. I can run 180 fps in game bc my monitor is only 165 hz (upgrading soon) but I can run it no problem on performance mode. I would also suggest stretched res (watch an itsjerian vid for how to do it) it makes your game run so much smoother. Hope this could help ✌️

because his internet is faster than yours... that's logic... maybe he has 300 mbps or higher, maybe a 1 gbps... and also a huge upload velocity faster and higher than yours.. it's simple

PC gaming would be dead if they would just add proper keyboard and mouse support and enable freesync on PS5. No new games are running properly on PC and it has to do with stuttering that PCs aren't equipped to handle atm. It is pretty cool Fortnite is the only game I can think of that will let you check your frame rate on console. The minimums dont hitch like they do on pc.
You need HDMI 2.1 for 4K120fps not for 1080p120fps. Next time get your facts straight before making a video saying there is an anomaly with your monitor.
