FEEDS & SPEEDS
I used Easel Pro to carve all the parts for the branding iron, in 360 brass. Below are the bits I used, with feeds and speeds as recommended by G-Wizard (tinyurl.com/y2.... Please note these are a starting point. I plan to refine this in the future, and possibly try different bits.
▶ Roughing Pass: Kodiak 1/8" Solid Carbide Helical End Mill (amzn.to/2vZo1xL)
DPP: .008"
RPM: 23,000
Feed: 46 ipm
Plunge: 24 ipm (5 deg. ramp)
