- I spotted this 1989 Dodge Dakota Sport Truck at a local car show.
Altogether, the Dakota Sport Convertible wasn't much of a success, and production ended after 1991. Only 2,842 were built for 1989, 909 for 1990 and just eight rolled off the production line in 1991, for a grand total of 3,759. This one is a VERY NICE example. It has no rust , and never seen a winter.
