@@M0IVD0 I detect a dose of sarcasm:) Hopefully you're right and the knee is doing fine. He's going to work on his 3point shooting and footwork, to create distance, and next season- unstoppable. Go Jeremy, go Spurs
@@DroneStrike1776 OMG I'm so glad someone else is saying this. Sochan really reminds me of Manu. They're both that x-factor, unconventional, come at you sideways kind of player.
I've never liked TP more than in this video. I always got the impression like many Spurs fans that TP would leave SA but hearing how much he loves it here makes me like him so much more. I absolutely love Sochan and I love that TP did this. I want Sochan to be the one that helps extend and create another winning culture. Spurs fans need to be patient and embrace these young guys. They won't all be here for the long run but they're on the right track. Looking forward to next season.
Yeah, Tony's great. I was always impressed how, seemingly every year, Tony came back with something new in his game. And his jumpshot improved steadily. It showed that he was always putting the work in. On some level, none of us Spurs fans quite understand just how good we had it for 30 years. David. Tim. Tony. Manu. Kawhi. Pop. Guys with great ability who took their pride in their work, but also competed with grace and class at the same time. Don't cry because it ended; smile because it happened and you saw it happen. Maybe Sochan and Vassell will, after a few years and some more pieces around them, make some magic of their own.
What Tony says about San Antonio is true. I also came here in 1979 as a 19-year-old to Lackland for Air Force basic from Ohio. My first duty station was Kelly AFB. My second was Lackland AFB. I was stationed in Europe, South America and the far away land of Oklahoma but I retired here in San Antonio. I met my wife here and raised my kids here, and I'll be buried here. It might not be for everyone but it sure as hell is for me.
I've tried to explain that to people. San Antonio just has some kind of "it" factor that resonates with a lot of folks. Not everyone, of course, but I've always thought it a credit to the city how many folks from elsewhere come here once or twice, and the Alamo City just gets in your blood. Special, special city. I've lived a lot of places (military brat, then served myself), but San Antonio is home. Love the city.
The man said he was above all COMPEATIVE. How is a competitive man going to mentor a guy competing for his JOB? Get Real and stop with the TMZ drama stuff. He retired now. If Sochan were a PG and he was still on the team, I'm sure things would go down like they did with DJ.
I'm so happy to see Jeremy shining. I hope he works on keeping his UK accent, and not letting himself start sounding too American like so many other players from overseas. British kids finally seeing someone who sounds like them making noise in the NBA is massive for the development of the game over here
@@Paparapatheraper-POL Yeah you're right but... his English is British English which is fine by me- I'm Polish in UK:).He's spent a lot of time here as a youngster probably feels connected to the place too. If it'll increase popularity of basketball in England... even better. If you want to play some basket (streetball) in UK mostly you're playing with foreigners or people of different ethnicity, not brits, cause preferable sports here are football, rugby, cricket even golf and snooker while basketball wouldn't even make the list. I see Henry's point there...Kids tend to look up to athletes, that's a good thing in times of IG influencers:)
I’m so happy the old guard Spurs are still around to give the young guys some advice. After getting the number one pick, I feel so good about the direction of this team. Wembanyama this year and a good horizon of high draft picks, we really could build a dynasty. We need Timmy and David around to help Vic (although I’m sure Tim will say “what do you want me to do, look at him”).
As a JJ's fan from 🇵🇱 I want to thank whole Spurs family for this interview🤜🤛It's a pleasure to see two Spurs legends meeting. I'm pretty sure about this - Jeremy will prove his full spectrum of abilities. It's a matter of time. Actually, I saw live Tony Parker playing against my local basketball team over 20 years ago. I think it was shortly before he went to NBA. At that time he was playing for a french team from Paris I think and our teams were rivals in one of European Cups (it was called Saporta Cup or smth). Paris beat us on our homecourt pretty badly, Parker played in second half. I remember our team fans were slightly 'disappointed' after the game😅 But time went by and years later if someone was talking about this specific game it wasn't about final score anymore but this young kid who kicked our a*ses got to NBA and he's a star now. Wondering if Tony remembers anything from this game or whole Saporta Cup period? And to be fair through the 90's we also had players in our team with NBA past like Oliver Miller, Richard Dumas or LaBradford Smith. We played against solid european teams with good players, some of them went or came from the NBA, but I think none of them got NBA true star status (before or after) as Tony. Go Spurs Go!
I don't know what Sochan is going to turn out to be as a player, but he plays very relaxed and under control. He's not fazed by the NBA game, and that mindset is only going to strengthen with more experience.

How does the Spurs org put their stamp of excellence on everything they do?!?! Excellent content. Lots of love & admiration to the Comms staff for making this beautiful interview happen ❤

Funny tony mentioned about the hair. I remember rodman doing that in SA and he was not well recieved by the city. Maybe time has changed and people are more accepting which is great
Just an observation. It seems like the players that win championships are the players who make the biggest sacrifices. They are the players who work the hardest. They do the things that other players don't do off the court. Like discipline, commitment and focus. That includes their teammates.

I love these 1 on 1 with the vets and rookies chatting it up. It shows that Spurs culture is strong. ❤
Crazy to believe that the big 3 still live here in SA with us #gospursgo
It really is amazing 🎉
Tim Duncan was spotted at an elementary school graduation 😅 lol that would be pretty cool to see him in the wild
You can see Jeremy looks up to Tony, with all the questions he was asking. No better way to improve your mindset than picking the brain of a Champion.
