The intro had me dying laughing! You guys rule!
My dad was watching Spanish fly and Jose had a permit on and I remember hearing the tibor screaming and that’s what got me interested in fly fishing. They’re indestructible, unique, classic, smooth, and not super crazy priced. I cant ever see myself buying another reel.
Awesome dissertation, really enjoying the Lunch Break series! Wondering if you’d consider discussing another debated question: do fly rods get “worn out” over time? As long as a modern graphite rod is not broken, I’ve always assumed it’s as good as new but I’ve heard plenty of the contrary. With the hours you guys put on your gear, I figure you’ll have good perspective.
Def grabbing the tailwater taper 7wt!!
You’re gonna love it. It rips, but hits the water so soft
The tibor signature series looks good, but it seems like everybody prefers the classic non-sealed???
Great review! However when trying to match a real and a rod, the new ones are getting so much lighter, is it difficult to use a Tibor/Able as compared with to Hatch or Nautilus due to the weight?
