Heyy!!! I am selected for the first screening but im struggling in all of the subs English, Maths (B), Physics and Chemistry. The exam is on 7th July 2022, i have done one paper but i wasnt able to solve it on my own. I just gave my GCE A2 exams. Plz guide how to prepare in such less time?
Hi Nigarish. Congratulations on being invited to sit for the exams. As you have less time, I strongly suggest focusing on your strongest subjects: pick one or two and try the problems many many many times until you are confident you can do them yourself quickly.
You are welcome to use my solutions videos for previous papers. These will guide you on the thinking process to solve the problems.
Then, if you score very well in one subject and score average on the other two, that's probably enough to get you to the interview stage.
I suggest you start practicing the old papers and checking the solutions in my channel if you get stuck. Best of luck!

Thank you for making many videos about mext. I'm from Indonesia. I selected from first screening. July 11-12, I'm going to take exam, math and physics are hard for me. But, I keep trying. I watch your math and physics videos. I think chemistry is my strongest subject.
Thank you for watching Felita. :D I hope you ace your chemistry! When I took the exam, I screwed up physics, but my Chemistry saved me. So, I think if you do really well on your chemistry, it will very much increase you chances of getting the scholarship. It is best to focus on your strengths. ;-)

I applied this year and didn't even make it through the first round, honestly I don't think I'm capable of making it. Math exam was really depressing
I am sorry to hear that. :( Did they tell you the results immediately? When I applied a long time ago, it took about a few days before I received the result. I think I really scored low in the Physics exam (maybe I scored 20~40 or less!!!), but they still called me for interview anyway.

@@jhatjuku Nope they took around a week to announce the results. Honestly I don't think about applying again, I barely got time to study :(
@@itzjustme187 I see. It does take a lot of time to study for the MEXT exams. One needs to repeat solving the past papers many times until one gets very familiar with the solution techniques. Hi, Vic. :) No, you are not allowed calculators in any of the exams. So, you wanna be clever on how you deal with computations. I have an example here from last year

After finishing interview what we need to submit
If your embassy asks to you to submit the hard copies of the documents prior to the exams, then you don't have to submit anything after the interviews. You just sit and wait. :) But that is if the embassy in your country asks you to submit all documents during the document screening.
In some countries, the ask for the soft copy during the document screening, so, those who pass the interview have to submit those documents after the interview.
