  • Fixed Gear/SS build gets a frame straightening. huge thanks to John, and crew at John Adams Cycling. Every time I walk in the door I learn a little more about how much I don't know... and I'm thankful for that!

    Nice to see you found a shop willing to work on the frame. All too many shops nowadays would say that its unrepairable and to buy a new bike.

      Right. It also helps that I work there on Saturdays. But I’d bet they’d be willing to do this for anyone so long as they were willing to pay the labor.

      I didn't either. Super cool to see it being done. I hope you two are sun tanned, and exhausted from your trip!

    i have a specialized hi-ten frame, could the repair be done and would it last?
    thanks for the awesome video

    • @EriebyCycle
      @EriebyCycle  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sure. Just can’t bend aluminum. It’ll last until something happens to bend it again- that’s way less likely than you might think.
      Thanks for the kind words.
      All the best from Lake Erie.

    Very cool video Josh
    Prayers for your young friend . Awesome bike project there with the
    Roshera . Looking forward to seeing what you do with it . The brown seat and bar tape seems like a great color scheme . Anyway , thanks again for another great video.

    Prayers for Ollie. Cool bike man. Its obviously an original Roger. That cold setting tool is genius! Yea i say all brown/tan accessories with gold chain for sure. With hardly any info or references of the bike on the internet but it has those stickers and engravings id say it could be worth quite a bit!

    • @EriebyCycle
      @EriebyCycle  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks homie! I’m still not quite on board with the gold chain… but you never know.

      @@EriebyCycle yeah i guess it would depend on how it looks with that All-City crank. That the same one from that rat bike and when you changed it out by the dumpster? Lol! If so then yeah idk about the gold either. With a brown/bronze frame as the background and a silver crank does make it hard to envision. I guess we will see on the next episode of Erie By Cycle lol

    That was cool! Old French bikes are badass! Does that BB have French threads?

    • @EriebyCycle
      @EriebyCycle  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Somehow it has standard British threads. My friend Joel’s Peugeot however has French threads. Thanks friend. Glad you enjoyed it!

    • @EriebyCycle

      It’s in my repair stand right now. It’s basically finished. Just needs a few tweaks to call it finished.
