Anybody considering playing with old cars and doing the work themselves should watch this video first. This is how it really is folks.... somethings take forever... It's not like the Discovery Channel. Good job! (P.S. I never used the little felt thing... and it runs just fine) Cheers from the Shed
Real 'peek behind the curtain' realism here
Well done Steve. All that effort is much appreciated. Very informative and reminiscent of most of my efforts when tackling something new. Hopefully will be tackling something similar soon. Looking forward to more videos in a similar format. Never can have too much popcorn
Thanks John. I will try to make something that is popcorn worthy.
Looking forward to this one !
I’d better get snacks and Gin !🎉
Lots of snacks and LOTS of gin
Enjoyed the video as usual. Love the valve seat removing tools
Thanks. This is something new to me
I have used both the standard NH and the straight through models … really liked the straight through. Anxious to hear what you find in your tests. Which timer are you using?

Great video. The felt is the packing on the carb. end of the gas line. Goes in the packing nut that connects to the elbow on the carb. That is if your using the standard gasline parts of the car was assembled with at the factory. Your right about rhings interrupting model T work. A friend told me once we make great plans then life happens. Looking forward to your next video
Thanks!
That's exactly right Randall never enough time at one time.
Wise man, R
Had an occasion to apply too much pressure to get Needle valve seat out and stripped threads! Still can't get a repair for that. However I still learned that heat on both initial screw outs will make them come out easily!
Good advice on heat. I've also heard that heat-then-cool can help them loosen up. But I haven't tried that yet. Thanks for watching!
great video!! .......would like to see all of the seat tools.....
Thanks. I'll take a picture of the seat tools and post it on Facebook and Instagram. @flivverchannel
At 53:14 Earl abandoned me.... I'm on my own now.
Earl wasn't enthralled by the enticing action sequences and repartee?
