Fr, trying to push the thought "I'd win" doesn't actually shows confidence, it felt more like a doubt which Gojo has been feeling ever since the start of their battle. Gojo doubted himself, and so did his students but he proved himself at the very end. Althought he technically lost, he at the same time won. He won the mental war against Sukuna and proving that he's not just a nameless fish in his chopping board. Which Sukuna fully acknowledged till the very end.

But in order to use WCS he has to deactivate Mahoraga which in turn will toss aside Mahoraga's adaptation, it'll go on a full reset. Sukuna further using Mahoraga was more of being efficient, as per stated by Sukuna IT NEVER STOPS ADAPTING meaning one more wheel it'll come up with another way which Sukuna could use in future circumstances. Sukuna wasn't just observing Gojo, he's also observing Mahoraga. Learning from it, and defeating his enemy with it. He's killing 2 birds with 1 stone, and that's why he was so satisfied at winning, not did he only learned a new technique, he also broke Gojo's technique along with him. Although it backfired against him, we ALL KNOW that if Mahoraga's wheel turned one more time, Sukuna will become too strong to stop.
The sad truth is that Gojo was always arrogant and that would end up costing him dearly at some point. If Sukuna had used his true form instead of playing with Megumi's technique, the fight would have ended in chapter 230.
And then he would’ve lost to the others since he would’ve had no way to heal up fully. Truly a pretty stupid argument to say it was better to use his only full heal in his first fight. (There’s a reason why he didn’t use it)

His understanding of Binding vows and curse techniques is on another level...he could have beaten gojo's ass without 10 shadows using domain amplication while chanting with other mouth and using extra hand signs, gojo would have probably lost in the domain battle itself. Not to mention sukuna in his true form is way more durable, mf is heavily nerfed rn and still giving a rough time to others.

Also it’s already been showcased that domain amplification doesn’t really do that much to infinity (seen when Jogo and Hinami use it on him in Shibuya) and it also seems like it only works with physical attacks and not with techniques (Gojo is way better than sukuna at hand to hand fighting so it wouldn’t do much). Further more, against Gojo it wouldn’t be so simple to just be chanting and doing hand signs while fighting him. Also it’s not that Sukuna is more durable it’s just that he is up against sorcerers that probably don’t even have half the firepower Gojo had.

Now for my next point, Gojo was basically fighting 6 hands 2 of which were the hands of the beast that could slash through his infinity and adapt to him, he fought them with relative ease so sukuna with 2 more hands isn’t gonna do much better. For domain clash we don’t even know if Sukuna's domain even gets stronger while in Heian form, the only advantage he would have is being able to do chants and hand signs to reinforce the techniques he would use while in the domain clash. Now as for Gojo saying Sukuna would beat him without the 10S, that’s a very big stretch because 90% of the reason why Sukuna won was because of Mahoraga showing Sukuna how he should slash the space Gojo is in to bypass infinity. I doubt Sukuna could invent something else to bypass infinity meaning his only shot at damaging Gojo is in domain clashes (which we see Gojo just tanking Sukuna's domain) and domain amplification (which really doesn’t seem to do a lot). Tbh my head canon is that Gege put that panel in to piss off Gojo fans and hype up Sukuna more.
Gojo tried as hard as he could but sukuna was always a step ahead. Gojo did everything to kill sukuna and sukuna did everything possible to come up with a new technique. The guy really studied his opponent during a death match. He totally understood the situation, Even gojo knew he could die. Gojo was unsure to a certain extent but sukuna is not. In recent chapter he came up with a domain out of no where. Just shows his Deep understanding of jujutsu
Honestly the domain seemed like an ass pull from Gege, it seems Gege wants to make the fans unsure of who’s gonna win the fight by making this loop of Sukuna being in a losing position then in a winning position to create tension in the story but it’s getting pretty annoying. For someone who wants to end this series as quickly as possible he’s really stretching it with the Sukuna loop. Still a pretty dope story tho.

Well Sukuna thought he was winning and going to win the entire time which is why he freaked out at the end when Gojo got through all his strategies and he was about to lose.
Not about to lose, just part of his plan. As he said himself, it was a risk that paid off. Yes there were a few times he needed mahoraga in order to save him but it was still part of his overall plan from before the fight even happened

Did you know that sukuna actually used a secret binding vow? To use world cutting slash you need to use 2 hands, but after gojo used hollow purple sukuna had just 1 hand, meaning it wasn't possible to perform world cutting slash whitout a binging vow
To those who call sukuna a cheat because he used mahoraga, Gojo himself said:'' he's not sure if he could've beaten him even if he didn't have megum's teen shadows. 😅
He literally was planning it from the beginning. He had the wheel in the shadows on Megumi's soul adapting to unlimited void. He could only use his shrine technique attached to the domain because of this. Which meant no amped slashes when he downed Gojo's domain. He put a lot of money on Mahoraga (instead of approaching the problem a different way) and it was close but it paid off. His big win condition was Mahoraga fully adapting and countering everything Gojo had. Which Gojo knew, but Gojo didn't know how exactly Mahoraga's adaption worked and that Sukuna was looking for something he could replicate himself. He basically played the "I'll outscale him" card. It is pretty naive to believe someone like Sukuna who wants power at his fingertips and who replicates attacks (like he did with piercing blood) in his own style would not be looking for a way to neg all defenses the entire fight. Keep in mind that Sukuna actually straight up tells Gojo how he is gonna kill him at the beginning of the fight.
He did want something to counter infinity. He said that he would cut gojo into pieces with closed MS and adapt to his infinity. He also started by saying that he would peel off gojo's scales first

I think you are forgetting the two panels where sukana literally went smtn along the lines of I put so much effort into obtaining you maho pls don’t fail me now, indicating that he doesnt have control over when the technique or if it is going to develop. True that he took a backseat cuz the only way he could win is through developing world cutting slash(but ofc gege could jus give him some asspulls so idk), he wasn’t trying to paint a picture that he wasn’t in control bc he LITERALLY WASNT. if he knows when maho can dev the technique why did he think that during those two panels and why did he try so hard to stop max purple? He didn’t die after it exploded and if he knew that he woulda not done as much, tank it while focusing on the world cutting slash. given that the technique developed shortly after. So 1, sukana had no idea if and when WCS is going to pop up, 2, he was scared of max purple. Nobody was fully in control of that fight and it coulda went either way. But maho made it jus in time for sukana to obtain WCS before it got destoryed. You didn’t fully understand it. You re right with some parts and wrong on others. Sukuna knew exactly when Mahoraga will be able to get past Gojo’s infinity, that was his battle plan. He knew when Mahoraga will get past infinity because, he decided it. Mahoraga won’t appear until after Sukuna had received Gojo’s attacks and gotten the wheel to turn several times for Mahoraga to adapt . Through out the fight he had magoraga’s wheel on his own head and was adapting for Mahoraga. Mahoraga only came out after the adaptation was complete and he could harm gojo. But after Mahoraga adapts , it continues to adapt , Sukuna then told Mahoraga (u re my shadow). That means yeah, maho has adopted but it wasn’t attacking Gojo with shrine(cleave\dismantle). So Sukuna now told Mahoraga to find a way that shrine can directly attack Gojo, which Mahoraga did as well. It wasn’t a gamble, it’s a 100% certainty, as long as Mahoraga isn’t killed, it can adapt to anything. So it was just a matter of time. Sukuna was just waiting. At the time Sukuna finished learning the attack Mahoraga used, Gojo was about to do that final hollow purple, which Sukuna didn’t want to receive head on, cos at that moment he won’t be able to defend it, but Gojo’s idea was to do a wide area hollow purple instead of one directly targeting Sukuna, nd that’s Gojo’s mistake, cos it also gave Sukuna the chance to catch Gojo off guard with the new attack he has just learned. The fight went how Sukuna planned in the end, even though there were hiccups, but that was his general plan from the start and he succeeded. So you re wrong about not being in control, he had a plan from the start and he also knew plans could go wrong in some parts, and made contingency plans for when things get tough, like using megumi for infinite void and also timing Mahoraga to appear if he himself gets in trouble. That is control. You cant control everything, but if u make extra plans for when things go wrong, u re basically still in control.
Sukuna made that statement to Maho because he wanted Maho to adapt to Infinity that way he: Sukuna can copy that adaptation and cut through infinity simple as that just to kill Gojo. And Sukuna wasn’t scared of purple he was only trying to make sure Mahoraga survived any attacks at least until he adapts to Infinity that’s why he said to Maho how long are you going to let me wait, plus he didn’t say please to Mahoraga don’t let me down the statement he made is what I said, he said how long are you going to make me wait for you to show me what I want to see then Maho instantly cut Gojo’s arm that’s when Sukuna got locked on because letting Gojo hurt a little means you have bypass Infinity so Sukuna copied Mahoraga’s WCS and made it his own. And like I’ve always said when Sukuna copies anyone’s technique he is always better at it than the Original user in other words Sukuna was able to cut Gojo deeper than Mahoraga did. Secondly is what the narrator just said in this video Sukuna lured Gojo to think he’s finishing Sukuna with purple so Sukuna took the hit whiles Gen Maho finished the wheel spin means he has adapted to infinity so anyone with brains seeing Sukuna in that state would think Sukuna is weakened and done for that’s when he strikes full force leaving Gojo widely open and make Sukuna target even clear to cut him and mind you when Sukuna uses a technique he copied is almost 3.5x raised to the power 💥 so you won’t be surviving that.

Sukuna knows someone is strong if he sees one, I do think he respected gojo at the end of their fight. He knows that it would be challenging for him to fight gojo, that’s why he had to play smarter and not just with pure strength. I also think gojo had a chance of winning but sukuna’s plot armor is stronger. Honestly, what would happen next if gojo killed sukuna there? It wouldn’t make a good ending for me.
I mean, it would have been better to let gojo to fight sukuna after his student already fought and lost, and end it with gojo nuking himself and sukuna, killing both in the process

Idk but if someone fights me in a game with: 1. The only thing that hard counters me 2. A combination of some of the strongest weapons (referring to the fused shikigami) And 3. My opponent being known as one of the best players I wouldn’t really count that as fair tbh

I think it was clearly stated that sukuna didnt need the ten shadows to beat gojo, he just did so, because he wanted to lern something. I probably knows ever bit of his coursed energy/technic. He clearly likes a challenge and wants to improve. So he challenged himself beating gojo with the ten shadows but it didnt work out like he intended, he lost with the then shadows, but he still lernd from it and so he finished gojo with his worldcutting slash.
No Gojo says that he wasn’t sure if he could’ve defeated Sukuna even without 10 shadows but at the same time when Sukuna was explaining Mahoraga’s adaptation Sukuna himself says that bypassing infinity was something he himself could’ve never learned on his own. He needed a model to see and understand. And that of course was Mahoraga. Both Gojo and Sukuna contradict each other but I think it’s just a way for both to show respect to each other.

Sukuna further using Mahoraga was more of being efficient, as per stated by Sukuna IT NEVER STOPS ADAPTING meaning one more wheel it'll come up with another way which Sukuna could use in future circumstances. Sukuna wasn't just observing Gojo, he's also observing Mahoraga. Learning from it, and defeating his enemy with it. He's killing 2 birds with 1 stone, and that's why he was so satisfied at winning, not did he only learned a new technique, he also broke Gojo's technique along with him. Although it backfired against him, we ALL KNOW that if Mahoraga's wheel turned one more time, Sukuna will become too strong to stop.
The sad truth is that Gojo was always arrogant and that would end up costing him dearly at some point. If Sukuna had used his true form instead of playing with Megumi's technique, the fight would have ended in chapter 230.

Now as for Gojo saying Sukuna would beat him without the 10S, that’s a very big stretch because 90% of the reason why Sukuna won was because of Mahoraga showing Sukuna how he should slash the space Gojo is in to bypass infinity. I doubt Sukuna could invent something else to bypass infinity meaning his only shot at damaging Gojo is in domain clashes (which we see Gojo just tanking Sukuna's domain) and domain amplification (which really doesn’t seem to do a lot). Tbh my head canon is that Gege put that panel in to piss off Gojo fans and hype up Sukuna more.

Honestly the domain seemed like an ass pull from Gege, it seems Gege wants to make the fans unsure of who’s gonna win the fight by making this loop of Sukuna being in a losing position then in a winning position to create tension in the story but it’s getting pretty annoying. For someone who wants to end this series as quickly as possible he’s really stretching it with the Sukuna loop. Still a pretty dope story tho.

He literally was planning it from the beginning. He had the wheel in the shadows on Megumi's soul adapting to unlimited void. He could only use his shrine technique attached to the domain because of this. Which meant no amped slashes when he downed Gojo's domain. He put a lot of money on Mahoraga (instead of approaching the problem a different way) and it was close but it paid off.
His big win condition was Mahoraga fully adapting and countering everything Gojo had. Which Gojo knew, but Gojo didn't know how exactly Mahoraga's adaption worked and that Sukuna was looking for something he could replicate himself. He basically played the "I'll outscale him" card.
It is pretty naive to believe someone like Sukuna who wants power at his fingertips and who replicates attacks (like he did with piercing blood) in his own style would not be looking for a way to neg all defenses the entire fight. Keep in mind that Sukuna actually straight up tells Gojo how he is gonna kill him at the beginning of the fight.

You didn’t fully understand it. You re right with some parts and wrong on others. Sukuna knew exactly when Mahoraga will be able to get past Gojo’s infinity, that was his battle plan. He knew when Mahoraga will get past infinity because, he decided it. Mahoraga won’t appear until after Sukuna had received Gojo’s attacks and gotten the wheel to turn several times for Mahoraga to adapt . Through out the fight he had magoraga’s wheel on his own head and was adapting for Mahoraga. Mahoraga only came out after the adaptation was complete and he could harm gojo. But after Mahoraga adapts , it continues to adapt , Sukuna then told Mahoraga (u re my shadow). That means yeah, maho has adopted but it wasn’t attacking Gojo with shrine(cleave\dismantle). So Sukuna now told Mahoraga to find a way that shrine can directly attack Gojo, which Mahoraga did as well. It wasn’t a gamble, it’s a 100% certainty, as long as Mahoraga isn’t killed, it can adapt to anything. So it was just a matter of time. Sukuna was just waiting. So you re wrong about not being in control, he had a plan from the start and he also knew plans could go wrong in some parts, and made contingency plans for when things get tough, like using megumi for infinite void and also timing Mahoraga to appear if he himself gets in trouble. That is control. You cant control everything, but if u make extra plans for when things go wrong, u re basically still in control.

Sukuna knows someone is strong if he sees one, I do think he respected gojo at the end of their fight. He knows that it would be challenging for him to fight gojo, that’s why he had to play smarter and not just with pure strength. I also think gojo had a chance of winning but sukuna’s plot armor is stronger. Honestly, what would happen next if gojo killed sukuna there? It wouldn’t make a good ending for me.

I think it was clearly stated that sukuna didnt need the ten shadows to beat gojo, he just did so, because he wanted to lern something. I probably knows ever bit of his coursed energy/technic. He clearly likes a challenge and wants to improve. So he challenged himself beating gojo with the ten shadows but it didnt work out like he intended, he lost with the then shadows, but he still lernd from it and so he finished gojo with his worldcutting slash.
No Gojo says that he wasn’t sure if he could’ve defeated Sukuna even without 10 shadows but at the same time when Sukuna was explaining Mahoraga’s adaptation Sukuna himself says that bypassing infinity was something he himself could’ve never learned on his own. He needed a model to see and understand. And that of course was Mahoraga. Both Gojo and Sukuna contradict each other but I think it’s just a way for both to show respect to each other.
