Would love for you to theorize on what sukuna trident named Hiten does of it will ever appear in the shinjiku fight
bro i like the idea and if you turn out to be right ill eat my words but i think you burnt the kitchen on this one lol (although ive been scared hes gonna eat someone soon for the past like ten chapters)
Stand proud, you cooked.
Wait the cooking on the last part was actually crazy. If your are right about this then it can explain why yuji seemingly didn’t get sukunas CT bcs it’s not cleave or dismantle but get new CT’s by eating others
I revoked your cooking license, you are now promoted to chef congratulations.
"oh, that's right. i thought you'd know about this, but i suppose a cursed spirit wouldn't."
That's the line that bugs me. If it were something sorcerers heard of from ages past. . . wouldn't that info have carried over through the ages along with his legend [as we hear from gojo in the first few chapters] The only person we've ever seen wonder about Sukuna's technique IN VERSE has been Jogo. . . who we know wouldn't know.
If the current day sorcerers knew about it, they could have accounted for it during the month. . . and yet still not told us the readers. :((((
@@Highstar7331 I'm guessing that since it's been a thousand years and the fact that I'm sure the number of sorcerers have been dropping since old eras that the information about Sukuna could just been lost to time. Same thing on how Toji knew nothing about Hollow Purple. And even though Hollow Purple is a secret technique I'm sure that sorcerers back then would have known about it. Yet somehow it was never written down.
@@JaloggestWhile it's never explicitly stated, Hollow Purple probably didn't exist back then. Otherwise, the ancient Six Eyes user could have killed Mahorga. It might even have been developed to kill Mahorga.
maybe its because cursed spirits dont get any information passed down because when they get exorcized they are reborn a couple of hundred years later so..
@@Highstar7331the big three family has been known to hide a lot of jujutsu from sorcerers outside them. Kenjaku was also able to erase all records of a person. Modern sorcerers simply not knowing an ancient technique isnt far fetched at all
Cleave and Dismantle= how he filets/prepares his food.
Fuga fire arrow= how he cooks his food.
Giant second mouth= how he eats his food.
Uraume= how he preserves his food. (Freezes leftovers and knows good recipes for human, apparently.)
He even called Gojo a Fish.
Urame can freeze cursed energy
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
IT MADE SENSE NOW! 😮😮😮😮🗣️
BRO I was thinking the same thing 😭😭 It would make the Malevolent Kitchen translation so accurate
The moment when Sukuna says "Fuga" (Open) again in the manga is gonna be legendary
I wonder if it’s Yuji’s curse technique at its maximum potential like the Ten Shadows from Megumi?
@@pjderouenYuji doesn't have CT😂. After awakening he may have tho.
@@UrjaswanPaul-cd8mq I believe it could be that he simply can’t access it. Since CT is stored in the brain there’s no reason to believe it wasn’t always there, just inaccessible. With how Sukuna understands jujutsu, I can’t imagine it not being a possibility
@@UrjaswanPaul-cd8mqWe literally just saw Yuji using Piercing Blood, he clearly got it after consuming his brothers. There’s no room for interpretation, he HAS a CT, and it’s Blood Manipulation.
@@pjderouen Thats what I meant he might have CT but only after awakening. Pre awakening Yuji don't have CT because Higuruma's confiscation didn't confiscated any CT but his Cursed energy.
I respect the amount of restraint it must take Gege to not explain it. Its one of the things that keep me engaged until I know. The Fuga chant is orgasmic.

I have an idea where sukuna's tecnique works in a similar way to both yuta's and megumi's tecnique. He starts off with cleave which is meant to cut down opponents into pieces so he can eat them. This is similar to megumi's divine dogs where they are basically freebies meant to be used to obtain his tecniques maximum potencial. Then, when he consumes the flesh of his opponent he gains their cursed tecnique which is then stored in his shrine for later use, although once used he would only be able to use them for a small amount of time. This would make sense because 1. Sukuna is many times associated with the preparation and cutting of food, and his food is people and 2. Well, if fire arrow was still required, then he would've used it against gojo when his Infinity was down.

7:25 no wonder Sukuna has been killing everyone, hes the original MC.
JJK Chapter 1: Ryomen Sukuna
Master cook. Lol.
i feel like sukunas technique revolves around an actual kitchen and what goes around in it. cutting and heat are both integral to any kitchen. uraume also has the ability to freeze stuff which is also used in kitchens to preserve food which probably adds to why they’re close to sukuna. Sukuna fighting philosophy is probably like same way how powerful people enjoy food. finest foods (strong opponents) should be remembered and savored while anything below that you can forget
Yeah , the fire and knives 😂😂😂
Your cooking, I can feel it
What's yuji then poison 😂
what's interesting is he doesn't have to say "fugo" to manipulate fire and heat. he says when he has a contest of fire with Jogo and then after melting everything to make sure it doesn't spread to potentially harm his Precious Megumi. literally manipulating the flames and heat to converge afterwards and fade away. The arrow created by "open/refinement". basically goes from macro fire control to micro fire manipulation. or im wrong 😋
@@dgbneyuydyuji is a raw steak 🥩
Sukuna ‘eating’ also means he’s fighting his opponents getting a ‘taste’ of their unique flavor (cursed technique). That’s why he fights passively because he wants to enjoy his ‘meal’. ( there’s a way better way to say this but I hope you get the point lol)
keep cooking
@@nyxarithhnah Sukuna might eat that as well. Bro is obese.
@@nyxarithh If Sukuna eating is a metaphor for him fighting, does this mean when Gege said Sukuna would 'eat' and important character does this just mean he fights and kills them? So what then? This
its kinda like ryu then?
Probably the best theory I’ve heard so far.
Except for the fact that it doesn’t explain what’s going on, why would sukuna think a cursed spirit wouldn’t know about a cursed technique? He even said after he wouldn’t reveal his technique so unless the English translation of that part is wrong which is possible something’s missing between what a cursed spirit wouldn’t know about a technique and a new technique reveal
I think it's a box that's potentially black
lol
Damn didn’t know his ct was from Africa
While I agree I think that it is more specifically literally black
@@swordsunknown5226boo
I think it is square
I think you finally cracked it. This is the MOST plausible theory so far.
This was exactly my theory as well! Sukuna is always referenced with "eating" and "storing/opening boxes" that I thought he might as well eat sorcerers and acquire their CT and store it for his own use!
Fantastic vid 👌
It better be a kitchen technique and not just another copy or stealing technique. Cuz that would be generic as fck. Almost any anime villain has this .
Then why didn't Yuta have access to it?
@@jumpman0198that’s a good question
In yuta's case, the person responsible for storing the cursed techniques is rika, sukuna probably has a cooking technique, when consumed he consumes all the nutrients (Maybe even he literally consumes EVERYTHING from the opponent, knowledge, strength, speed, cursed energy and CT)
A question I just wanna know is… If Sukunas CT is to store other CT’s by eating them why didn’t sukuna just eat megumi to get the ten shadows technique?
Broooo YOUR INSANE IT FITS SO PERFECTLY LIKE EVERYTHING MAKES SENSE LIKE YOUR A GOD
This video made me have an epiphany moment
This just adds to the list of direct similarities between Sukuna & Rika / Yuta since he gets his abilities from Rika.
1) King of curses / Queen of curses
2) Only characters who RCT heals people
3) (If shrine stores CT) Both Rika & Sukuna store CT within themselves like a storage
4) The requirement for storing CTs is eating parts of people (Confirmed with Yuta eating Sukuna’s finger)
These are to similar to be coincidence & what’s even crazier is rika was created by how strong yutas love was for her, love being a key topic in Sukuna’s story.
Then how come Yuta only got Cutting when Rika ate the finger and not Shrine/Fire Arrow?
shoko heals others
Man I just love your videos man you the only reason i’ve been able to keep up with jjk
Frosti thank you so much 🙏🏻
To add to the “Cooking” theme, the original word for dismantle (Kai) is a cooking technique.
Specifically it refers to the techniques for preparing fish for Sashimi or Nigiri Sushi. One of the knives shown in the Manga when discussing Cleave and Dismantle during the Shibuya Malevolent shrine looked very similar to a yanagi ba, the single bevel knife used for cutting Sashimi.
Fun tidbit: the famous Kitchen Knife brands Shun, and Seki Magoroku, as well as Kershaw USA pocket knives, are all owned by a conglomerate known as the Kai Group (Named after the same cooking technique as dismantle).
I absolutely agree with your theory, but here's my interpretation:
Sukuna's CT is literally just the embodiment of eating.
That's it.
The dismantle, a cut where it depends on how much CE sukuna outputs into it, is the same as how people used to cut food with knives in the past, and how the effectiveness of the knife depended on how hard someone uses the knife.
Cleave is just someone biting through his food.
You might ask how this correlates (since it's not as obvious as dismantle) but hear me out; when you bite into anything, do you CONSCIOUSLY choose wether to bite really hard or really soft? No, you automatically do that depending on the toughness of your food.
If you're eating ice cream, you don't just cut down on it like steak instantly, no, your brain automatically tells your teeth not to bite hard.
This concept is the same as cleave's concept, where both adjust themselves depending on the toughness of whatever you're fighting/eating.
The fire arrow is just....fire.
Fire is used to cook food, hell, it's THE reason why we CAN eat food.
It has existed for so long we don't know when the first human used it.
The "open" part, though as not dramatic nor complex as the other points, may just be a chant, like how most people need to yell out their move before attacking.
This can be compared to Gojo's "Hollow Purple", since it's the strongest attack in his arsenal, a chant may be needed for the technique to work.
.
.
.
Anyways, sorry for all that yapping lmao. Those are just my thoughts, what do y'all think?
(What follows after this sentence is a "debunk" to Sukuna's technique "storing" other cursed techniques. Its also an edit lol)
Also, anotha reason why i dont think "shrine" is a "storing technique", is when he used 10S against yoruza.
Considering how close/knowledgeable yoruza of sukuna, she definitely would know that sukuna's technique is a storing one. (Hell, shes the one where we get the name "shrine" from.)
Now heres the kicker, if sukunas cursed technique is about STORING other cursed techniques, she wouldn't question why he didnt use "shrine" against her, but she did.
If she knew "shrine" stored other techs, she wouldnt question why sukuna didn't use that same "shrine" against her, but she did.
(Edit 2:Well, depending on which translation you view it from, you would say she KNEW that 10S was megumi's technique, but my theory still holds up hecause if sukuna's technique WAS actually about storing other techniques, then she wouldnt tell him to "use "shrine"". Sorry for the extra EXTRA yapping session lmao)
This would line up with the oddities surrounding yujis technique. It’s possible yuji actually has his own shrine, and that he ate the remaining death wombs to obtain blood manipulation.
Maybe the shrine is his technique and cleave, dismantle and fire arrow are offerings given to him. That would mean that same as Yuji he can absorb them by eating
Well when you think about it, Yutas technique copy works the same as Sukunas. He had Rika eat the sky manipulation girls arm, and afterwards he used their technique.
More over, In Yutas Domain expansion we see a method for how he stores cursed techniques.
so
@@david-rf7tf it would seem so.
257 all but confirms it. Yuji has his own shrine and that’s WHY he’s the perfect vessel
I agree, he tried to eat angel afterall. Maybe his cursed technique stemmed from people offering prayers for wrong reasons like hatred as in literally cursing someone to die, as it is a shrine that physically manifests into reality, could mean his shrine literally existed before.
oh shit, that's actually true. we've never seen him distort his head like that before...
Well, not to go too crazy, but Ryomen Sukuna is a literal yokai from Japanese mythology, who has a shrine in his honour in Gege's home town...

Could you please make a video on this theory?:
Gojo said Yuji would eventually get cleave and dismantle, and he already did. (Kinda)
Yuji got SHRINE, which could be a technique where when you eat people you get their curse technique, we still don’t know how Yuji got blood manipulation but it is theorized to be from him eating the remaining death paintings. Shrine could be what is letting him eat all of this shit and getting their cursed techniques. I believe he already has black box/shrine and I think also Higuruma as well as the other sorcerers know about it as Higuruma referred to sukunas technique as shrine (or malevolent shrine depending on the translation) instead of cleave and dismantle, which means he knows about the true nature of his cursed technique, which is probably why sukuna said to jogo that humans would know about his true cursed technique. TLDR : Yuji has shrine he eats people and he is currently already using black box in his current fight and Higuruma and the others are aware of this
Froko thank you so much man! So yeah I totally agree with this line of thinking, thats what I'm alluding to at the end of this video when I cite the parallels between Yuji and Sukuna and that Gojo says Sukuna's technique will be engraved on Yuji, so I probably won't make another video on it since it would basically just be the same thing thats already in this video, so if you'd like to cancel this donoation please feel free! Appreciate you either way!

Yorozu isn't the only one that calls Sukuna's CT a "Shrine". When Higuruma fought with Sukuna, when he talks about possible target of "Confiscation" he refers to Sukuna's orginal technique also by name "Shrine". Maybe Angel also shared some information about usage of "Shrine" to Jujutsu Squad(refrerence to S*icide Squad and you know why :/ ).
Thanks for answering my last question, I have another one.
Puppet Manipulation vs Cursed Corpse (Principal Yaga's technique)
Which is better?
Can i answer your question, Curse Corpse is stronger than Puppet manipulation (maybe you talking about Machamaru's CT) because the Curse corps have it's own will, So they have some 'nagative' thought too, and Nagative things = curse energy , *that's my personal thought about it.
While mechamaru needs his own CE to use them but yaga can make a army of soilders with their own CE

Hi! Thank you once more for such a cool content you making!
Unlike many, I really enjoy the last chapters of the manga where everyone work together, trying to joinly defeat the sukuna. The one I'm missing for the full picture is Hakari - but unfortunately he's busy with Uraume. I would really like to see Uraume fight too, but there is one thing that's been running through my head.
Since we know that Hakari's domain is very fast and strong due to its unlethal properties, can we assume that it could overpower Sukuna's domain if Sukuna made it with a barrier. That is, would he have defeated Sukuna in a domain clash or at least been able to compete with him? It seems to me that this could turn out to be a very cool moment if Sukuna decided to lock everyone in his domain (or he could not cast a barrier-free domain at some point), to which Hakari would respond with his mega-fast domain and overpower Sukuna, once again surprising him . Of course, I’m not talking about this as a win condition, just as an interesting fact about Hakari.
Just to add: Hakari's domain obviosly wouldn't do anything dangerous to Sukuna but it will be great conterattack to Sukuna's, since when you defeat someone's domain, the person won't be able to use his techique

I'd love to know your thoughts on the matter!
When you said "so y'all did I cook?" That was cold. Great video, props man ✊🏿
Now that he's open the furnace we know that he was truly cooking in a malevolent kitchen all along
Would sukuna’s “black box” ability not be a copy ability. An ability where he copies by understanding his opponent, their intentions and personality. But also having to experience their technique in a fight
Before he killed jogo he asked why he didnt use his domain against him. The answer was obvious to everyone yet he still asked him. When he fought megumi he asked why he ran away from the 1 finger curse when he had so much talent.
Yorozu even questioned sukuna on why he didnt use his “shrine” technique. I was thinking that she would’ve thought that if he wanted someones technique he couldve just copied it in the way that i mentioned
This idea came from the character “ubel” from frieren. She would talk to people to sus them out and she would end up copying their ability by understanding who the person was truly. Also your black box video makes more sense than what i thought of but would still like to hear your thoughts. Thanks man
I could certainly see it being something along these lines, Sukuna seems to have an insane understanding of Jujutsu, and maybe its because of his technique or a requirement of his technique. I mean the way he copied Maho was just insane. Thank you so much for the support!
A few things (I'm bout to spout off so excuse me if I start yappin)
1. I think you are pretty much on point regarding the specific idea of the "Shrine" technique.
2. Techniques may be hereditary, but they are not originally genetic mutations.
This is something of a pet theory of mine so bear with me for a sec. One of the first things we learn about Jujutsu comes from Sukuna, It's that binding vows are important and almost everything about Jujutsu follows from how this kind of equivalent exchange system works. They may be old, but techniques are likely just products of very particular, multilayered binding vows, and genetic inheritance of certain aspects of brain chemistry may have been popular as conditions that allowed these techniques to exist.
Think of it like Hatsu in HunterxHunter. Powerful Hatsu can't exist without setting a restrictive precondition (or even several as with Chrollo's Bandit's Secret) to their usage. Similarly, most techniques in JJK are bound in their usage in very specific ways. Barring everything about barriers and domains being basically one giant extrapolation from this concept: the construction technique's extra energy cost, the ten shadows' shadow storage weight condition, even the limitless' uselessness without the six eyes on top of only one person being able to have the six eyes at a time, ever, etc. My theory is that every technique in JJK was originally a complex, multilayered binding vow made by one person and part of those many conditions were likely that anyone with a specific brain chemistry (a trait often inherited in families) could use the technique, or that only so many people can have the technique, or maybe that anyone who kills or eats the user can develop the technique.
All this comes back to something key about Sukuna which we can extrapolate from both this theory and Kenjaku's explanation of his retaining of the techniques of his previous vessels, Sukuna's storage cannot be very large or contain some ridiculous number of abilities. In fact, it is very likely that part of the binding vow allowing the "Shrine" Technique to exist is a very specific restriction on the kinds of abilities it can contain.
This raises the conundrum that Yuta Okkotsu may be an especially unique case, being able to store so many techniques, though that may be a product of the restrictiveness of the binding vow around his curse copying technique, whose conditions are: at least, that the window of time he is limited to for their use is very small (just 5 minutes with rest) as it's bound to Rika's full manifestation and the restriction of his access to his full cursed energy and any of the copied techniques outside of that time also contributes.
Sukuna can call on the several aspects of the technique with just a chant, if that. It seems a lot less restrictive meaning the condition has to be something else, or there's something about the way it works which we're not seeing, and I think it's the former.
3. This is the best JJK video I've seen yet on this platform.
Thanks for finally nailing down the Black Box vs Black Square discussion as I see a lot of JJK TH-camrs conflate them as the same time when the anime made it very clear when nothing was said
I’ve seen this theory around for a while and I’ve never been fully on board with it until the very end of the video where you brought up the comparison between yuji also eating to gain power. I think that detail alone lines up too perfectly and I’ve never seen that comparison brought up before. Sukuna’s technique reveal is gonna be insane no matter what it is
THIS AGED SO WELL 🗣🔥
Could you do a video going over Yuji’s progression and feats upto this point in the manga? Also idk if this question will make sense, but do ALL of his attacks hurt ANYONE’S soul now, or is his soul damage to sukuna only because he’s specifically aiming between megumi’s soul and sukuna’s soul. Idk how to word that to make it make sense i hope you get what i mean lol
if his attacks are able to harm any soul he strikes then surely Yuji is one of the strongest in the verse by now, i’m excited to see his awakening
Munch thank you so much! I talk about your questions in this video here: th-cam.com/video/OmzY_K4KhiU/w-d-xo.html and the video I reference for you to check out in regards to your first question is this one here: th-cam.com/video/syQJMFO4Olc/w-d-xo.html
Thanks for the shout out and vid, you put everything together really well. I've been thinking that Yuji and Sukuna might share a eating technique for a while. I also think this is a better way for Sukuna to go "all out" as instead of just having a bunch of extra cursed energy maybe he just has more techniques he could use. It will be interesting to see if Sukuna will end up using Angel's technique since if he can then the story is doomed.
I feel like sukuna and his weird black box is sukuna finding a way to have multiple techniques. Only two people have multiple cursed techniques, which only happened because their native technique let them do so. Maybe there’s a way to combine two techniques into one technique, bypassing the general rule of not having multiple techniques by just forcing multiple into one?
This was actually pretty informative.
This was a full on banquet, thanks my guy
I've always thought Fuga (The black box) was an ability that every sorcerer was capable of because of the way he introduced it to the audience. I think its a technique like new shadow style rather than an inherited technique that has you condense cursed energy and work air into it to allow it to combust as Gojo revealed in one of the most recent chapters enviromental effects do have an effect on jujutsu. The way it's drawn looks much closer to cursed energy dyed orange and red due to extreme heat rather than Jogo's flames which is an actual technique and generates fire and lava. You can see Sukuna superheating his cursed energy before even saying Open which makes me feel like it's closer to New Shadow style that has you form contracts to use it (unless you're Kusakabe) or like reciting an incantation for a normal technique it just maximizes its efficiency or allows him to form the arrow from it like a heatsink. Gojo's Six Eyes didn't tell him any other ability besides Cleave and DIsmantle (the audience never really got told so I'm pullin) and when Yuta copied his technique recently, he used Cleave n didn't mention anything else. I think Sukuna just has a bag of sneaky or just forgotten fundamental jujutsu combat techniques nobody else really but like Kenjaku might've known.
4:13 the data book has been translated into french ( i speak french ) and in it it says this "usually a technique only has one ability, but this one is an exception by having 2, it distinguishes itself by its power but also it's particularity, the target is instantly dismembered, cut into pieces and incinerated, only a small amount of adversaries can survive a technique like this." so maybe its some sort of finisher move, bc the only times we've seen him use it was at the end of the fight, reminds me of cremating a body tbh
I think the square is a reference to the square tattoo on his shoulder. There are 3 squares on each shoulder: adding up to 6. There are 6 humanoid skulls hanging on the roof of Sukuna's Malevolent Shrine. Those skulls contain Sukuna's fire. We know this because there is a color page with him holding a humanoid skull that is brimming with fire.
I distinguish the shoulder squares form the rectangles on his back. The rectangles on his back correspond to the eyes of the bulls on his floor. Those eyes represent death; they look like Mahito's mirror. And thus the rectangles are dismantle.
The center tattoos on his back are related to those antler like post with the unbloomed flower on top. Thus, the center branching tattoos represent life. So they branches are his healing ability.
All his tattoos correspond to his shrine. The top of the shrine has a bullhead and 4 humanoid skulls. That bull is tattooed on his forehead, and those four skulls represent his 4 eyes or maybe his 4 extra eye markings that emanate from his extra eyes.
His mouth markings represent dismantle. Aka his Trishul.
honestly Sukuna being a glutton is so clever, people often think of eating when they think of gluttony, BUT gluttony can also just simply refer to over consumption, which fits this theory even more
Best video yet, appreciate your hard work.
It could also be eating cursed tools, thus “storing” them in the shrine, cleave/dismantle are knives the fire arrow is an arrow etc.
Excellent research bro... I love your channel best breakdowns ever of JJK and you get str8 to the point. Keep up the great work bro!

Hello my fellow jujitsu sorcerer!!!
As we all know Sukunas only love in this world is through culinary arts, he even kept a femboy alive just because they were such a good cook for him (Uraume)
Anyways as I was watching season 2 and seeing him eat that bag of popcorn before he fought mohoraga, he stated that the food was trash… however after that episode I started pondering a little bit… is he disappointed with the food of this present time???
I’d like to imagine giving a Victorian child a Baja blast the same as giving sukuna a baja blast, just a complete serotonin overload… do you think he would like it???? Or do you think his disappointment would’ve increased even more?
I’m open for debate but in my opinion I think he would’ve seriously loved it, I feel like if someone wanted to get out of being killed by Sukuna they could just crack open a nice cold Baja Blast and give it to him
Keep up the awesome theories
Yatlord thank you so much for the support!
Haha I love this, because lets be real, who can resist Baja Blast? They might as well try it with the way things are going, looking like they're gonna need all the help they can get.
It would be interesting to see him actually eat something in the manga (not counting people...) just to see what'd he'd have to say about it with how obsessed he is with eating.
Could be Domain Open. Implying that the original domain “expansions” were all open domains and that one’s innate technique is their domain. Maybe they could only use curse energy in ritualistic places, like shrines. And shrines acted as sorcerers’ domains, where they can use techniques. Maybe this is how the sorcerer clans started
This is actually cool. Sukuna having shrine would make sense and everything so far that he used works. A shrine has been used a lot for sacrifices in many cultures, and everything sukuna has used so far have been ways people have been sacrificed in history
the Bison Skulls are such tremendous symbolism in his domain
@@monkeywrangler5615 which is why it makes even more sense since animals were used as sacrifices quite a bit
I'm just in awe about your interpretations... Right now I'm more of a fan of you interpreting the manga... Than the manga itself... 😅😅😅
I think his cursed technique is “binding will” this would make the distinction between cleave and dismantle more obvs cleave is the amplification by literally producing 2 “binding points” the space between those two points is cleaved open and dismantle is the rtc of his innate technique much like gojos “red” with this technique it’s far easier to attack a wide area as the inverse of binding is cutting. I substantiate this with the revelation that yuji could only use the technique after a period in which he learned how to use rct and that domain expansions take after the innate technique over any sort of skill based technique you derive from your innate one basically if his innate technique is binding it would make sense that his DE was a shrine because a shrine could be seen as bondage for the divine in a sense as a result sukuna can use binding to do a full All For One and just yank out your technique and enshrine it

Yes that makes sense, I think yuji has already acquired Sukuna's CT but he isn't aware of it. And the reason why he is able to use blood manipulation is because he might have swallowed some blood of Choso's during his fight.
He got blood manipulation by eating death paintings but I agree
You absolutely cooked. It's just so peak.
Amazing theory backed by character design hints. It also explains why Yuji didn't get the slicing technique of Sukuna yet.
This guy is the best JJK content creator on TH-cam.
What bugs me is that Yuta didn't have access to Black Box, suggesting that Sukuna's CT is solely composed of dismantle and cleave, so it may probably be a whole different cursed technique
Dismantle is definitely just his innate technique. Cutting up his enemies and eating them for their technique. Yuta probably couldn’t copy stored techniques.
@@jackasaw9750which lends more credence to the possibility of him knowing about the outline of his soul to form his heian form, and that black box/shrine might be insight gained via the soul, evolving his CT
My guess is that yuta doesn't have a control and choice which CT to copy this is the first time for him to copy somebody with multiples CT.
Also the one who eat is rika after all i don't think she know what CT is good to copy lol.
7:30 Ooooh, so kinda like a 'CT hammerspace'?
I would actually prefer if this was the case, rather than if he had full control over the process that we refer to as the 'black box'.
Maybe how he gained his additional arms, eyes, and mouth were thanks to a CT that reshapes the soul like Mahito's idle transfiguration, but with obvious limitations.
For eg. The process of reshaping the soul itself could be very slow with this CT, and there could also be a potential 'cooldown' to it as well.
These limitations could be because of the CT itself, binding vows, or a potential 'nerf' that happens to CTs that he gains,
with how he does so potentially playing a part in the 'nerf' that they receive.
A hypothetical binding vow that Sukuna could've made here is one that allows him to consistently recreate his Heian-era body,
whilst losing some other perks of this makeshift idle transfiguration CT.
And assuming that he gains someone's CT by eating them as you said at 8:53,
Uraume might know how to prepare these people as 'meals' in a way that makes it so that there either aren't any,
or are very minimal limitations imposed onto the CTs after Sukuna gains them.
And yeah, *YOU COOKED!*
bro CALLED IT
Maybe he stores attacks?
Something like, someone shoots him with Fire, now, he can "open" his shrine, absorb it, and use it as his own.
Steling from others, thats something the KING of curses would probably do.
Probably Cleave and Dismantle also where stolen from a powerfull opponent, or maybe his first stolen technique, and thats why he uses it so often.
Or god don't want it... is his weakest curse technique stolen.
It's been confirmed that cleave and dismantle are a part of shrine (his original curse technique). But I do think you might be cooking with this one
Can't wait for inumaki to show up and say "shrine open" so his cleave gets stolen
Maybe it is the weakest. It was the best against gojo, but just the flame arrows could have one shot everyone.
i dont think he would just be a copy and paste of yuta
but i do think that maybe he can absorb others techniques and take them for himself like you said, before swapping to another. it would make sense, he fought jogo and borrowed his cursed technique and since he didnt copy anyone else after, he was able to reuse it on mahoraga. the reason i feel like he has this limitation is because to me it sounded like he directly copied from jogo when he said "ill fight you with your own specialty" copying what JOGO did, not like he already had it. i could be entirely wrong tho, words are words.
i think he can do this just from an immense understanding of cursed energy and techniques, and that its something he possesses NEXT TO his own technique, cleave and dismantle. sounds kinda odd but i wouldnt put it past him since hes the king of curses.
I heavily respect your work
I believe exactly the same thing. I think there would be an inverse to open, close. I think this would be part of the ritual feast needed for sukuna to gain the CT characteristics from other sorcerers/cursed spirits. Great video man!
I have a theory that has already been explored. Sukuna's cursed technique may be based on the culinary arts, he might be the ability to learn and replicate any technique related to cursed energy, similar to how a chef might learn and replicate various recipes. This interpretation highlights Sukuna's versatility and adaptability in combat,
During fights with CT users, Sukuna seems to analyze and dissect his opponents' curse techniques, possibly with the intention of learning and adapting them. Sukuna's ability to learn and perform techniques may involve observing and replicating the flow of cursed energy used by his opponents.
The Fuga chant is another example (it reminds me of a recipe book) we first see this against the fight jogo. Sukuna seemed to be toying with jogo during the beginning of the fight it was only at the end of the fight where sukuna uses fire arrow maybe he was analyzing the flow of jogos CE and sukuna being a natural talent when it come to CE manipulation was able to refine it.
Another example of this is his fight with gojo, where he literally used mahoraga as a blueprint for his world cutting slash
Danzo thank you so much for the support man! I talk about your comment in this video here: th-cam.com/video/KS_BQx6axtE/w-d-xo.html
My personal theory is that it's a lot like Ino's CT. Ino can invoke different phenomenon with his CT and Sukuna can do the same.
Sukuna has 4 powers in my theory. The first is cleave (dismantle is a off shoot of cleave).
The second is fire. The third is water and the forth is his ability to eat.
It's a kitchen so Sukuna must prepare the meat. Cleave. Then he must clean the meat. Water. Then boil the meat. Fire. Then eat the meat.
Evil Kitchen. That's why i prefer the translation of Malevolent Kitchen over Shrine but this is just my guess.
Fire 🔥 vid Fuga!!! 😂
Well, well, well Sherlock you did it💀💀💀💀
Ngl it sounds very convincing that sukuna's technique revolves around a literal restaurant kitchen, and that's why he likes uraume, because uraume is also a cook
HE COOKED
4:35, i kinda noticed the ribs enclosing sukuna's innate domain, looks like the shrine(storage box) in actually inside the stomach, skeletons floating in ocean of blood(stomach fluids with leftovers). basically there's a storage within a storage does it someway connect with the story? also realized the english translation for sukuna's cursed tool "kamutoke" means "chew and melt"
Okay, but chapter #257? This suddenly makes SO MUCH FUCKING SENSE. It makes SO MUCH SENSE.
If we're going with the idea that Sukuna needs to eat someone to get their curse technique then wouldn't it be hilarious if Sukuna pulled out Jacobs ladder because he took a bite out of Angle
Until the end of time I will maintain the idea that Sukuna has Copy and Fuga is like Rika and holds his Cts
You're the best Jjk content creator. Keep with the good work dude, you're awesome.
4:11 I feel a good guess on what the black box is, is just a form of changing Cursed Energy, like making stretched out so thin that it ca cut anything or compressing it till it explodes into flames.
I think that because Sukuna’s knowledge about the soul When eating people He’s also consuming the soul since the soul and the body are the same and adding that to his own soul. Gaining the possibility to morphed in the way he is now. That’s why he has a bigger storage for curse energy and also could be the reason why jacob’s ladder didn’t work that much during Yuta’s domain. Because he ate part of Angels soul(arms) and she couldn’t recover them, that’s why his more resisten to the technique now.
Imagine Sukuna says "Shrine, open" then pulls out his Trident.
Lmao i imagined this exactly. And later found this comment 🔥 🔥
What you cooked goes really well with the theory that Sukuna had a twin. Either that twin was HRed or Sukuna himself was. (His dire want to prove to Maki that honing your Jujutsu skill is better than honing your body
Basically, Sukuna is evil Yuta, only he uses Shrine instead of Rika to hold the techniques he stores. This would also track with how they get their copied abilities, as Yuta has Rika eat a part of the enemy to gain their technique (eg. Sukuna's 20th finger or Uro's arm), while Sukuna just eats them himself. It's also possible that Sukuna started out with a similar level of cursed energy as Yuta, but he ate so many sorcerers that his raw power increased to the level he is today. Finally, it's possible that Sukuna is compensating for not having a Shikigami to store his techniques by using a binding vow that lets him use Cleave/Dismantle naturally, while every other technique requires him to select from the Shrine to use.
On the topic of Sukuna loving to eat, during the Mahoraga fight he’s eating popcorn and hates it so it makes sense he’s a food connoisseur.
I have a theory that might be on the nose, but bear with me (also, massive manga spoilers)
Let's assume Yuji was scarred with Sukuna's technique and can use it.
We've never seen Yuji use cleave and dismantle, however we've seen him use blood manipulation.
Given recent events, it's pretty safe to assume Yuji ate the other cursed wombs, Choso's siblings, and the three death paintings we know so far used blood manipulation.
If Sukuna's technique is related to eating and "absorbing" or storing techniques OR ENERGY (I'll get to this), or something like that, then Yuji could have absorbed blood manipulation from the death paintings. (This seems more likely than both Yuji getting access to blood manipulation out of the blue or Yuji getting it from the death paintings without Sukuna's hypothetical technique as a middle man of sorts, at least in my head.)
From Malevolent Shrine's wiki page, we see that "mizushi" can be roughly translated to "emperor's kitchen" (as stated in the video), which is where the emperor's food is brought for, and I quote the wiki, "more advanced stages of preparation".
So, what if Sukuna's cursed technique is assembling cursed techniques instead of storing them? And since Yuji doesn't know that (and even if he did, he probably wouldn't know how to use it effectively) he just has the basic, "uncooked and unseasoned" blood manipulation absorbed from the death paintings via Sukuna's technique.
Sukuna's fire arrow could be a "well prepared" cursed technique from a sorcerer who had a fire related technique, OR PERHAPS a refined application of the cursed ENERGY from someone like Kashimo, but replacing electricity with fire (Kashimo's control of electricity isn't a cursed technique, and is rather just the nature of his cursed energy, thus it's theoretically possible for someone to manipulate fire without a cursed technique and rather simply because of the nature of their cursed energy)
To get his hands on this cursed energy, he eats its source, that is usually a sorcerer. So this cursed energy becomes an ingredient in his shrine, his innate domain, which he can refine - read season and cook - to his liking.
And if he truly is "just on another level", to the point where he doesn't see the need to use anything other than cleave and dismantle on a regular basis, it explains why we haven't seen him use anything else (of course, Jogo and Mahoraga were exceptions.)
In conclusion, I believe Sukuna's technique is sampling cursed energy and essentially refining these samples to build these aspects of his cursed technique, much like mixing ingredients, seasoning, etc, to prepare food. He literally cooks cursed techniques in his shrine.
Now, the following points can be made:
1. This doesn't explain cleave and dismantle. Where does that come from? Is it an application of Sukuna's "vanilla" cursed energy? And if it is, does Yuji have access to it?
2. If Sukuna has a variety of cursed energy samples in his shrine (come on, he's ancient, he must have options), why did he use specifically the fire arrow against Mahoraga? Was there no better option, did he not see the need to use anything else, did he do it for shits and giggles...? We don't know.
3. If Sukuna absorbs cursed energy from other sorcerers by eating them, why the hell didn't he immediately eat Gojo once he won? That could've potentially made him unstoppable, he would have access to a piece of Gojo's cursed energy. I'm not saying he would be able to use limitless or the six eyes, but who knows.
4. Speaking of Gojo, Sukuna explained that Mahoraga got past Gojo's infinity by changing the nature of his own cursed energy, and then proceeded to say he couldn't do that. So that means either Sukuna couldn't change his cursed energy specifically in a way that bypasses Gojo's infinity, or the nature of Sukuna's cursed energy is not malleable. The latter seems more reasonable, but again, we don't know.
5. Where did the black box go? If it's a different language (Gege's used black boxes for this before) or something only Sukuna understands, maybe it's a special chant, but that would be the only occurrence of an actually special chant existing since all others are sentences we do understand. I don't much understand chants, so this is a weak spot for the theory.
Thanks for coming to my TED talk, I'm curious about this and I want to know other theories.
with the inspiration from fate, this makes more sense, Gilgamish power is pretty much that same, many weapons, yet he throws swords (slashes)
Sukuna going to eat Choso to not only show how his cursed technique works, but to give another tie to Sukuna and Yuji being connected by... blood.
What if his technique works similar to ten shadows, at the beginning he only has cleave and dismantle which he can use any time but he has to get other techniques somehow and to active them he needs to chant "open" so he can get them out of storage/shrine
bro predicted
bro ate indeed
5:18 we can conclude that sukuna cursed technick is being a cook so he can shalsh meat, dismalntle vegetables and cook them with his fire arrow
The eating bit actual happens once more with yuta! Its hinted at the fact that in order to copy a CT, he or rika have to eat part of that person. Its why sukuna says that Yuta ate his finger when they're fighting. Also happens in his 1v1v1 where rika eats a part of Takako Uro and he seems to only then be able to copy her CT.
In the newest chapter yuji can use the shrine too and he's sukunas nephew. Sukuna told jogo that humans would know about his flame arrow because it was famous. He uses his flame arrow against mahoraga too. It'll be awesome if we see yuji use the shrine and get the fire arrow.
This was exactly my idea when I first saw that scene in the manga.
Don’t worry big guy, you cooked like an absolute madman in this one
Cool theory, a theory I’ve heard of was where the black box IS Sukuna’s cursed technique, from what I’ve heard from the man, Sukuna’s cursed technique is the ability to see into the black box and see how the person cursed technique works so he can replicate that, it probably has something to due with the soul which is the person that made this theory said which would explain how he was talking to Jogo, but by using the technique he probably looking into Jogo’s black box and replicated that to use the flames, and cleave and dismantle is probably a cursed technique he replicated long ago that he just made his main.
Bro imagine sukuna's other technique characteristic is to oil someone up
You could also use his domain to support the cooking theory as it’s a storage with the entrances as mouths like a stomach related to eating
I think Sukuna's technique is "different" because of his perception of himself. When Megumi first unlocked his domain, he had recently been smacked silly by the special grade finger curse, and likely had a concussion, if not treatable brain damage. During this hazy time, he remembered Gojo's advice to imagine a stronger version of himself, to not hold himself back just to ensure everyone else would be fine, and that his own self perception (as a trump card that can be used at the expense of his own life) is holding him back. When he becomes greedier and pursues that that higher version, he unlocks his domain. Sukuna literally calls himself the King of Curses, this self perception may cause him to evolve a cursed technique unlike any other. I personally think he might be able to store other sorcerer's cursed technique's in his malevolent shrine, but maybe he can only have 4, as there are 4 mouths on the shrine. Just a maybe though.
Edit: Made this early on in the video because that's when it popped into my brain and then you said the exact same thing. Are you my dad?
Open Malevolent Stove 🗣️🗣️🔥🔥!!
This video has me thinking: what if Sukuna’s cursed technique was originally something *WAY* flashier and complex having to do with the concept of a shrine, but with a lifetime of experimentation & binding vows he’s restricted and simplified it down to just cutting? And this is more of a stretch, but if we take this for granted, the imagery of the shrine having a mouth makes me think he could have made “offerings” of the bells and whistles of his technique to it, so to speak. That could have something to do with how he just so happens to have the perfect body for jujutsu and can ‘open’ his shrine and retrieve things like the fire arrow. To me it’s a powerful image and a genius display of his character to be his own god and most devout worshipper in a sense as he bestows boons to himself. It could also be why his domain is so powerful and malleable
This video aged suprisingly well, the eating concept is basically the same as cooking. Also crazy that chef sukuna is a real thing
It did not
