My brother had a 66 GTO back in 1972. I got to use it to take my drivers test then when I was 16. It had the 389 engine with a 2 spd powerglide transmission. 2 years later I put a Holley dual feed 750 cfm carburetor on it and a dual point distributor and tuned it up. Did some serious burnouts and would shift it manually out of low at 60 mph. Fast car and good times.😎
