- Back in Bora Bora, I decided now is a great time to take a closer look at CLI4D's epic improvements to the atoll with Cowansim's awesome rendition of the Bell 222 UT! We're even going to represent Helisimmer.com today with their livery, as we check out most of the resorts on the island chain.

Whatever happens in Bora Bora, stays in Bora Bora. These are my favourite chill vids, watching you hop between helipads, in absolutely STUNNING locations. With the constant rain here in the UK, I think I may need to pay this beautiful island a visit myself.
Definitely a bucket list place... as long as i have a helicopter i can fly! 😁
Great flight and in such a nice place too. not bought any helos except the Hype 145 so looking forward to picking up a cowansim or two when 2024 drops.
Definitely recommend both companies yes
Cowan and i hung out all weekend here in Vegas. He is one of the coolest dudes. Hype too! Both guys are awesome!
Expect to see more from them once i get preview versions available to me.
For me the best twin engine helicopter currently on MSFS, Cowan's masterpiece 👏👏👏
I would definitely agree. Although the Chinook also holds a very big place in my heart too.
@@belgeode We are waiting for the great news by Asobo's for the multi rotors, I'm sure they will do a Great Job!
@Helicopterx1 yeah i know. I keep in touch with Miltech on their discord server. Should be soon after Asobo releases Sim Update 15, they say.
Great tour… can’t wait till you get back to the DO 31 I spent couple of hours with the Dornier yesterday I think I got it figured out. Now I’m going to set up a scheduled flight, but anywho Bora Bora is beautifully enhanced with active sky.
@dominicmundy6022 loving the heck out of that Do31. I have a couple other birds to show but i might do a shorter Do31 video just to show my progress with it.
That taxi/runway texture looked really good! Damp. Great scenery! I hope Asobo or somebody HD's the Hawaiian Islands as that is where I left my heart...Maui! 💗 Hey Bel, where's your pontoon ad ons for work around water? lol
LOL. I totally forgot to add the pontoons, but hey more of a challenge this way. I think I did not do too bad this time, ya think?
I thought I heard that Hawaii was an area they were going to work on? I have no proof though... just stuff I thought I heard.
I believe it is but maybe for fs24.
It's so weird seeing a 222 with skids. Fell in love with this bird from the show Airwolf
It is a little weird isn't it? When I was landing I had to remind myself I do not have wheels. Even so I still skidded. LOL
skids on the 222 is a little like putting ice cubes in your milkshake
🤣😂🤣😂
A Jurrasic Park theme music was playing in my head through the whole video.
🤣😂 omg.
Heli in jurassic park was an A109. (I think)
Hmm I may have to watch it again. Now I do not remember what helo was in it.
@@cyborgbadger1015 It was Agusta A-109A
Are you using any helicopter assists within MSFS?
I use no helicopter assists at all. I have zero curves in my control sensitivity settings.
@@belgeode Very good flying skills. I've no tail rotor assist and practice with cyclic off, which I find is taking me time to learn to hover first, which is very frustrating! Any tips on which helicopter to practise with would be very much appreciated.
You can practice with any helicopter really, but something smaller and more nimble will typically get you into the mindset of gentle movements. RL helicopter pilots like to mention "fingertip movements", and if your controls are set up the way mine are (with zero curves) you learn fairly quickly that you do not need to move a lot with the cyclic or pedals to get a response. Just remember not all helicopters respond the same. You are not going to get the same kind of response from a chinook, that you would from say a robbie 22. But the most important part is of course practice and paying attention to what the helicopter wants to do.
@@belgeode Thanks very much for getting back to me its very much appreciated.
@douglasrobinson7857 no problem at all! Enjoy!!
How you going to do Shaniqua like that!? 🤣😂
Next time i see her? Bring her a mimosa. 🤷♂️
@@belgeode you are suppose to take her for a ride.......in the helo. 🤔
After the mimosa
