I struggle to watch anyone else because you're the voice I hear when I read comics. your enthusiasm made me feel like I was watching a movie. Thank You Ben for everything. As a young boy I didn't know much about comics, I just knew I loved superman. Ten years ago, I watched a video about flashpoint (your first video) which led me down a rabbit hole of other youtubers who were just as passionate. During a time when being a comic book fan was looked down upon, and not really talked about outside of certain circles, it was you that rekindled my love for superhero media and got me into those comic bookstores and introduced me to way more stories and characters I would have never considered picking up. You made an outcasted 13-year-old boy not feel alone in his love for a weird and fun hobby and made it seem like the coolest thing ever with your passion. Now at 24 I still watch your videos. As a long time, lurker I have watched this channel grow and was there every minute of the journey. I can't thank you enough Ben, Rest in peace.

Same, I found him my sophomore year in HS and would listen to his covers of the Power Rangers comics Godzilla, Spider-Man, Ghost Rider.. he always had the genuine excitement enthusiasm and passion for the stuff he was reading and so it held my attention 100% of the time no matter what I was doing. I... still can't grasp it myself
i work in a job that many of my coworkers are elderly. we have a lot of days where i come into work and see somebody i saw a day or two before has died...i don't think we ever get used to it.
Life is so whiplash. One minute someone that means the world to you is here and the next they are just gone. that’s why it hurts so bad.
As others have said, he likely died mere hours after recording this. He spent most of his remaining time on this Earth talking with us about what he loved most, albeit unknowingly. Brings me some comfort.
I know… he had no idea that this would be his last video… life is short. Enjoy the time we are given now. Before it’s up….

Lately, Netflix shows have been so lame that I began to watch Benny's readings and having a blast because they were truly entertaining. His sudden passing really shocked me and I am feeling kind of like an orphan right now. I know there are many other channels like this, but Benny was the guy whose readings conveyed the most passion. Upon hearing the news of Benny the Comicstorian I got sick to my stomach and cried like a little baby and I'm 53yrs old. A comic book reader since 5yrs old. I've been seeing Benny's web page for 7 years now and found him very Entertaining so passionate in his love for comics. He's keeped me up to date on all comics I'm interested in. Comics are not cheap anymore like when I was a child at .25¢ a book . Today 5-7 dollars. Ouch😢.
Had to cut back on spending buying comics. Those I missed buying & reading, Watching & listening to Benny reading them with such enthusiasm made my day. God bless you Benny . Rest in Peace brother. I most definitely will miss you. God bless your family also in theses difficult times. 🙏✌️♥️😇 Amen.

Perfectly explained jt man. I personally loved his king in black series and his voice was absolutely perfect for the narration. That goes for all of his stories as well but I don’t think anyone will do it like him again.

your videos were an escape during the tough years of my younger life. Was always listening to them in the background and watching them whenever I could. You breathed life into the stories and made a whole world of them in my head. Would go to sleep at night thinking I was in any one of the stories you told. Rest in Peace Benny.
