Sometimes you pay for that extra bit of quality and this is one of those times. Wow. Really impressed. Helios is now on my list.
Love the Helios.! My late husband and I spent Christmas and New Year there, for 8 years on the trot. Gala dinners were out of this world, and the entertainment was amazing. Also spent several summer holidays there. One of the best hotels in Benidorm.
Nice to see Damon and Simon from a fellow honorary Brummie! Very nice hotel I loved the well kept grounds some beautiful plants. Nice modern room and ensuite very tasteful and a colourful array of good food. For two the price is a good deal and what the hotel provides well worth the money. Thank you again Paul for a well researched beautifully filmed video. I am so happy to be member and appreciate the high quality and insight of your channel ❤️x

The Room is really nice clean and airy with a decent size balcony food looks good too
Loving the room very very nice. As you said the balcony is big! To be fair the view isn't unpleasent. Bet it looks good at night when the other hotels etc are illuminated . 😊Hotel looks top drawer, nicely laid out and the outside areas too. Food looked top quality, delicious, very colourful array.😊😊😊😁
Stayed in Helios few years ago and found it very nice. Just because there’s an air con unit doesn’t mean it’s switched on for guests to use. Stayed in calypso in April when it was 23/24 but no air con and was told by reception it doesn’t go by temperatures but dates! Couldn’t have balcony door open as we looking onto Morgans tavern, so very noisy
Have stayed at Helios but years ago. Certainly seems to have improved. My lasting memory was of an over zealous restaurant manager that wanted you lined up before being allowed into dining area. Spoilt the whole holiday.
Breakfast....something there for everybody. Vast choice there. I was taken by the honey Comb, straight from the Bee Hive. I haven't seen it presented in such a way before.👍👍
Obviously not in Spain but I believe there are environmental health conditions about raw honey in UK.

Thanks for showing different places. I love benidorm was there 4 times last year but not sure about this year as for some reason got really expensive the flights seem to have increased so much

Stayed there last week and its definitely the best hotel I have stayed in Benidorm (been about 15 times) will definitely be returning to this hotel on my next visit
I spent 6 nights here at Easter and was in room 923,opposite where you stayed. The rooms are the same size but the beds are different. Mine had 2 single beds at 90 cm each. Yours was a double at 150 cm. The room seems bigger but it is because the bed is not as wide. We were not that bothered by the city view as we did not spend much time on the balcony anyway. The food was good but not as good as the Riviera that we had stayed in last summer.

Paul great review as always. Wow what a stunning hotel one of the best you have reviewed. Love the clean lines, great balcony space and noted I think an airer. Fantastic looking food and beautiful honeycomb for breakfast. If I do go to Benidorm this is definitely on my bucket list.❤ That's great value compared to here in Scotland.

HI PAUL what a lovely hotel the room you had looked great the bathroom looked big IM pleased you had a pool view room the food for evening meal looked nice great choices you are right about the food in pots keeps it warm for longer the breakfast looked amazing the outside pool looked great with plenty of sunbeds hotel is clean and tidy everywhere is well kept so pleased you went and filmed there THANKS PAUL FROM KEITH

Having watched this we missed a trick. We booked this beginning of April but cancelled when we found a good deal come up at Rio park. We would definitely book the Helios next time.
Looked a lovely hotel, know the area it's well situated. Very surprised at the small size of the hanging space, too small for 2 and this was a premium room!

I used to stay there back in the 1990s it's definitely had a facelift and gotten rid of their dangerous diving board
Me and the Wife Stayed there for a week this year. Outstanding in every way.
I stayed here about 15 years and it's the only hotel I said I would never go back to and I haven't I didn't enjoy my stay there and the food then was really awful our room was at the other side which never got any sun at all it looks like it's had a lovely make over since then might go back some time thank for the video enjoyed watching it 😊😊

When i stayed in the helios,we had a room at the back of the hotel overlooking the road,got no sun whatsoever,and the road was noisy,especially on market days as the market is only 5 mins away,overall the hotel was lovely

Paul 👍 I stayed there for a week, having booked in advance the price was reasonable. Great hotel, all the amenities you need, and friendly staff . The food hugh choices to choose from any meals I had were yummy, yummy

i've stayed at the helios, you've got a much better room than we had, not to say ours was bad , it wasn't, i liked the place. you got quite a few extra's . maybe we went cheap , lol

Stayed last week never again. No aircon and i didn't sleep a wink for the noise. I'm back home ill the room was like an oven. It's overrated. Three beds crammed in to a tiny room, i was alone and still felt claustrophobic and a very small bathroom.

Hi Martin depends sometimes direct most of the time the cheapest online travel site
we signed up for Helios emails and they offer you discounts. It worked out slightly cheaper with our code. Because flights were so expensive on Good Friday we flew Wednesday afternoon and got 6 nights instead of 4 for almost the same price.
