Fantastic song from a fantastic concept album/rock opera. Pink Floyd is a band. The classic lineup consists of David Gilmour - guitars, vocals, composer (he sang on this one), Roger Waters - bass, vocals, lyrics, thematic composer, Richard Wright - keyboards/synthesizers, vocals, composer, Nick Mason - drums, sound effects. They're a band that doesn't fit into any traditional category as they're a genre all on their own. Definitely my favorite band and Gilmour's my favorite guitarist. Most of their albums are meant to be listened to as one cohesive piece of music as the songs almost always transition into each other. If you want single songs to start, I would recommend "Time" or "Money" from Dark Side Of the Moon, "Hey You" or "Comfortably Numb" from The Wall, "Wish You Were Here" from Wish You Were Here, or "One Of These Days" from Meddle. All their catalog is amazing, but these are good starting points for your journey.
This is not at all a typical Pink Floyd song!! Try either "Time" or Us and them from their Dark Side of the Moon album for an intro to Floyd!! That way you'll get the essence of incredible music with really deep lyrics!! Young lust is a song that just filled the space for a Rockstar headed to burning out!!
