Do you have a link to outside trim plates for this type of Andersen lock? The door is on a waterfront side and started to lose chrome shine. The length of trim is 10” (probably made before 2005?). I can find 8” trim, but will it fit without changing other hardware parts of the lock?
Thank you!! You saved me from embarrassment. I thought I broke the doors I was house sitting for. They are now locked thanks to this tutorial! 🙏
Thank you for this video. I couldn't figure out the locks on my Mom's Anderson double doors. So simple when you know what to do.
Awesome. Was getting ready to take it apart and start over again. Duhhhhhhh, so easy!

Can i just smash the glass and reach through and unlock it using the reverse of this video?
Sure you can, but you can do this with any glass door.
What is even better would be a door that is not complicated and have parts that consistently work and do not frequently malfunction like the Anderson.
I don't have a passive door. My mom is going to murder me for not locking this crazy door.
It’s really simple, step one lift the handle if it’s a single door then let go, step 2 you wanna turn the knob. Your locked!
Ur cute but thanks for the information
Nice door .. better looking saleswoman.. 😅
