    Man the work that goes into these is astounding. I’m running out of superlatives!
    I’m going to be working on my drums tomorrow and there’s so much in here I’m going to use.
    Thanks so much. 🙏

      Haha, thanks mate! My girlfriend gets mad at me because I'm always working weekends but I actually just love doing it! I always end up getting extremely inspired by these artists and actually learn and develop my own skillset so much through doing these vids. I'm just glad that in turn, I can inspire other people like yourself to take these techniques on and apply them to their own music. I guess were all winning at the end of the day!✌

      Yes ghal3on, thanks mate. Always nice to get a comment from you. How are the tracks going? I think I'm finally getting the processing/slicing/programming down for my drums now. From Photek to here its been pretty much none stop breaks but really starting to get it all down now! Keep well bro✌️

      @@groovining tracks going quite well thx for asking! Got a friend mastering the last one I finished, and theres one currently on hold (collab tune). Taking a bit of downtime to maintain some gear. Will be sure to share with you when the tracks are finished! Looking forward to the EMU vid ;)

    Freaking awesome series, it’s been great to see so much detail. Plus you have a soothing voice, good for this kind of material.

      Cheers Ninjilla! was a fun one to put together. Ha thanks man, I'm definitly at the other end of the spectrum from the more hyped up, in your face TH-camrs. I'm a pretty chilled bloke so I'm not sure how well I could put on that overly enthusiatic teaching style! 😊

      Thanks my friend! I went as deep on this Paradox Series as I could. I didn't actually love my demo track but i did manage to include lots of cool techniques in there to show everyone. Thanks for all the comments :)

    This is what I love about chopping and jungle specifically, endless learning and new information to put into practice ❤ big up for these !

      I'm much the same mate. There is an endless amount of techniques and approaches to learn with breaks & chopping. Even just to go from an original break sample to the processed/timestretched break you use in your project there is a million methods and thats before you even get into the processing and programming! Cheers for the comment 😊

    Hey mate I think you got your thumbnails switched around. Pt 4 vs Pt 5. By the way this is perfect timing. There's a beat battle on Elektronauts that cinematic noir themed so I will defintely check out your last few videos for tips and inspiration!

    • @groovining
      @groovining  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks mate, I did think about doing them the other way around. I guess that I process the Amen in part 4 which is before part 5 so I kinda stuck with this way. Part 5 was just a little extra something I did as I thought people would like to see exactly how you program something from scratch. That's cool, I must have missed the beat battle, do you have any Elektron products? I love my Digitone and Digtakt!✌

      @@groovining The deadline is 5th Mar so you can join if you want to. I have a digitakt and Analog4 (had OT but sold it). Love both machines but haven't had the chance to learn them fully as I've been investing the little time I've had into Renoise and trying to actually complete tracks instead of just doing loops etc. Digitone and Digitakt is a lethal combo, wouldn't mind getting a DTN someday. Great value for money it seems

    Mate this is dope, ya track sound sick. Have you covered the redux vst with a DAW in any of your videos? Just getting to grips with it and find the workflow is a tad different from straight reniose. Much respect

    • @groovining
      @groovining  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks mate - glad you like the tune :) Ye I haven't done much Redux just cas I love working in Renoise. It's a great way to get tracker breaks & FX into another DAW and works great in Bitwig/Ableton. Always found it a little buggy in Logic so haven't used it much to be honest. 🚀😊

      @@groovining safe man. Yea I'm using it with studio one...seems great so far. Any advice how to remember what hits are assigned to each key. Finding things a bit clumsy compared to using a piano roll and just moving the notes around but all and all the tracker/phrase's workflow is working well...think just need to put time in with it

    • @groovining
      @groovining  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@zeroalpha_nz6674 The basic workflow for finding the drum slices on the keyboard is to turn off 'Edit Mode' by pressing ESC. Then you can play around on your keyboard to find which slices go where, then you put Edit mode back on and add them in.
      Another technique is to use Shift + Spacebar to play from the selected line & then transpose the note on that line to find the right one
