- I know I saw a bazillion of these videos on TH-cam to make a list for me. They came so handy. So if this can help anyone of you, I’d be glad!
Of course you can customise this to your needs but most of these are basics and yes I know they are a lot but I’m a bit of an over-packer and I’m pretty sure I’m still going to add 3-5 things more 🙈

Carry a cotton scarf 🧣 for yourself in case you missed it 😊 cotton napkins for baby. 🥣 in case baby needs it for feeding. Bibs are also useful.
People here judging a new mom, she has all the necessities and can afford whatever she has shown so ofc she will take those with her for the delivery. Plus, being overprepared is better than being underprepared. Kudos to you mama!! Doing the best what the baby needs!
How stupid! Pop it out and go home with infant in carseat if it lives. Milk doesn't come in good till after two days. Wear home what you arrived in. The hospital supplies everything necessary. You are not there but 48 hours at most.
@@Me-mn4nw not every hospital can provide you with stuff , some only provide you with minimal stuff and rest you have bring yourself. I live in Australia and we have to bring most of the stuff ourselves. We don’t know what country she lives in so don’t judge her. 😊

@@Me-mn4nw If a mother wants to stay in care of a Dr what's the problem. She is paying for the hospital fees if she is staying there for more than delivery time. Also she can afford and she wants to be over prepared. She is being the first time mom. Give it a rest
@@rushadutta2870 It's a waste of time and money! Learn to relax while letting things happen! The birthing process WILL go much quicker and easier! As long as you are clean and fed nothing else matters. It's not like you are going to be on TV. Nobody is coming to see the mom anyway. It's all about the baby from then on out.

it's not about middle or higher class ..half of things not needed in hospital..Max stay in private hospital is 2 days in c section..1and half day in normal delivery..

Tarini you are carrying great stuffs . You are really sensible and mature enough to understand these necessities well in advance...Also the maternity cover for privacy is a valuable thing.... Privacy does matter to a mother and its her choice and that choice should be respected...

Girl, you are doing your best. Ignore these comments. All these things are absolutely necessary for a comfortable stay. You obviously know whats best for you and your baby. There is nothing wrong in making sure everything goes smoothly. Best of luck and so much love for you and your upcoming baby❤

She's overdoing it, she'll stay in the hospital for 2 days max. And she has packed a larger suitcase (that a normal person uses for a month long trip)
If she forgets something, she can tell her family or friends to bring it for her. Not that deep man.
It's her first child, and she is clearly paranoid. And actual mothers are giving her advice so she can calm the duck down.

Just google a baby delivery hospital list of a Western country and you will literally see many of these items on there.

Yes, she can use rest of the half stuff, after coming back from hospital. Not all required in hospital bag.
Diapers? Bruh you shouldn't use them, matlab you can...but only when traveling... frequent use of diapers can cause severe rashes

I recommend avoid visitors in hospital early on atleast wait 3 days to receive anyone other than family. Meet n greet baby allowed 🎉only after discharge. Being your first baby u will really need that quality time.
Best wishes and good health to u n baby n also your hubby. Get ready to click all the firsts. Keep a bag ready for your hubby for his hospital stay with u. U will also need a nice feeding dress wearing which you n hubby will walk back to your home welcoming the baby (to be recorded) it’s usually like a ceremony. Avoid pacifier. Also take katori spoon.

Practically many of the items will be returned to home in the same packaging ... Neither the baby nor you will need that much stuff within those hospital days...

Just a suggestion...aquaphor for preventing diaper rash is good but it's very costly..you should try vaseline instead . My dermatologist recommended me to use vaseline which has the same texture as aquaphor even better and it's much cheaper

We get almost everything in hospital....even the gowns to be worn...we just have to take old comfy clothes for baby thats it!!

For all the new moms your not spend a week there hospital gown is comfy and easy for the nurse to help only need home coming outfit that’s it specially if you not delivering normal wouldn’t allow you to change 😂 so please don’t take stress
Woah, thats soo much stuff! In the UK they discharge you after 1 day (or 2 after a c-section) so you wouldn’t use even a quarter of the items.

As a mother of 4 kids, (youngest one is 4 months) I can tell you this is over paking.
If you are at any develop country or in Europe this most things you don't need
You need just 3 lose shirt,pants, undergarments, socks and 1 pair slippers. Some minimal cosmetic like cream, Vaseline avoid fragrance for babies. One dopatta.
And for baby 3 pc body, jumpsuit. Most probably diaper.
But no need pacifiers, nipple cream /cover, milk collector things, oil, wet tissue, powder etc. You need this may be when you come back home.

Peri bottle is a must in case of vaginal delivery. Proved to be a great saviour for me. Had my delivery 5 months ago. Trust me no one tells you how painful it gets afterwards to pee or poop. I hope it helps

But they will give everything for 2 or 3 days… breast cream , pads , disposable panties yes you can choose to have your own gown after delivery… but not needed, nice pair of socks, baby brand new blanket , and baby gown, beca they need to do so many test that’s why avoid wear your own clothes to baby, you can have one pair while coming home… etc

Dear in our small cities or villages where I love now... nothing need to go hospital... just a duptta or u can say showl to cover her mouth so that her mouth should not be shown to any person... nothing else for her securities or comfortability

New Mom.anxiety makes u buy everything under d sun..n it's understandable..second time mom's r soo chill they carry bare minimum..😁as a first time mom I packed my bag in seventh month ,finished all my shopping in fifth month including diapers😂..while this time around or u can say d second tym..I packed d bag jz a day before going to d hospital..though did d shopping in d last days..both d times bought things online..bath chair, wipes ,rompers, Himalaya baby essentials basket, waterproof sheets for d baby( changing diapers) , pacifier, baby blankie , bibs ,a manual breast pump too ( u never know u would be in a condition to b able to feed or not) but try to feed within one hour helps in bonding and is good for baby .the list of things is long don't worry ..u will understand n know wat ua baby wants ..nobody can know better than u.
Well..being a nurse I always focus on hygiene and maintaining sterility for the newborn baby..people buy bottles but forget to sterilise it before preparing a feed for the baby and also sterilising it after use for the other use..as most mums do not produce enough milk on the initial day of c-section or delivery

The hospetl has evrything for baby, you need (worm) cloths for baby going home, and mayby a spit-up chatcher for home.
(If you want to bring a pump you feel comftible with, go for it.)
I'm saying this from experience, this being my third baby
I 2 had collected all these stuffs and arranged so well in my hospital bag. but at the last moment my mom and husband didn't find anything ,they messed up with all stuff and return that bag home, after standing outside with a small poly bag in which a dress few diapers were present 😂

Not sure where you’re located but hospitals give you and your baby everything. You may carry your personal items and that’s it.

All is good but get the grip on socks and also a slipper for shower. Hospital showers are not so good. And you may need a small fan you can clip on the hospital bed. And white noise machine.
Keep some scarf to avoid headaches and something for drinking hot water like cattle something for spongbath
