+freekickerz I do like how the 718 looks but that sorry sounding flat 4 just kills it for me. Maybe if the 718 was cheaper than the outgoing boxster...
+tripjammer it sounds better than you think f.e. with the sports exhaust...but it isn't an flat 6

This is a GTS w/ pdk and tuned I believe. This is how these cars drive in S mode. They are designed to hold high rpms for longer periods and why nothing else drives like a Porsche!

PSE is a must have. Too bad that the original owner of my actual Boxster S 2014 didn't ordered it... Retrofitting it is too costy.

***** Haha, alles gut, solange du es einsiehst :* zum Ende wird es ja auch besser... aber gerade bei Spurwechseln ist es echt wichtig den kleinen Hebel zu bedienen.. Wurde schonmal mit dem Motorrad überfahren weil jemand meinte es reicht ja wenn er regelmäßig seine Spiegel checkt :D Zum Glück nix ernstes passiert aber seit dem pass ich da besonders auf, ist ja auch nicht so schwer seine Hand die 2 cm zu bewegen :)
Aber sehr erwachsen von dir dass du Besserung gelobst :) Auf so eine Reaktion kommen die meisten erst wenn es zu spät ist :P

This is not a stock exhaust... is it?
It is the Sport Exhaust. It comes standard in tbe GTS versions of Cayman 981, Boxster 981, and 911 991. And as an option in normal and S versions. It is a valved exhaust, you have a button in the centre console and can switch between normal (more quiet) and Sport (which bypasses some part of rear silencer and makes more noise and bangs and cracks on the overrun)
But in this video tbe must have an external microphone attached near to the exhaust tips. It sounds too much... and you can see they are talking but we can't hear them, only the exhaust, and no wind noise at all

I am looking a t a new one of these at the moment but Im going with the 718. I count stand that constant burbling from the exhaust. It would drive me nuts.
Red TV Productions 718 is a very livable car. Sport exhaust when my twelve year old takes over. Normal when entering the hood.
But he has the "optional" "Sports Exhaust" pressed on - that is what you can hear. The regular 6 cylinder sound, without the sports exhaust is superb, without all of that annoying cracking and popping, which I too can't stand. I have a 981 Boxster S and can assure you they sound absolutely fantastic - screaming all the way to 8,000 revs! The sound of the 718 4 cylinder is simply terrible.
@@smokeytom24 why do y‘all get it wrong? The sport exhaust has nothing to do with the pops and crackles. They only come in sport mode.

Gibt nichts besseres auf kurvigen Straßen, als einen Boxster GTS. Er ist klein, leicht und hat ne Menge Dampf und macht einfach Spaß...spreche aus Erfahrung.
