Fitting a full exhaust headers down with decat on my BMW S1000RR GEN 5
Im doing a full build on this bike its going to be SAVAGE

tools needed:
17mm spanner
22mm spanner
T20, T30, T45
10mm 12point socket
ratchet and extensions
flat head screwdriver or a pick
cutters
very much straight forward, can absolutely be a DIY at home

Its already removed. It looks like there is one still inserted but its out 👍🏼

I did same and removed the 8m bolt in order to remove the T40 long bolt which was hold ming the cat box and now can’t put back that 8m bolt back - what is it anyway, is it some sort of vibration dampening for the exhaust? - do you know

I believe its just a bracket as well as a vibration mount in one for the stock exhaust which is not used for a decat system

Just a tip, when working with Titanium exhaust parts, be sure to wipe down the pipes before pushing heat through. There are plenty of contaminants in your skin oils that cook into the metal and over time will look terrible. From your first start, your slip on has plenty of hand prints. Also, ripping the bike like that right into a cold start is not a great idea. Just take care of the bike. :(
