“I am Koloth.” “That doesn’t answer my question.” “Yes. It does.” That was great. When you finish all three of the great Klingons: you should do a small compilation of the poetry of their battle against the albino. Koloth was overwhelmed by many foes. Kang’s weapon failed him when he needed it most. Kor was left to live on in peace, when he was the one who wanted most to perish in battle.
Assuming they could get the actor available but if they didn’t; then we’d be given a fourth Klingon Captain. Captain Kine; an eccentric sort with a hankering for cheese.
I find it amusing that young Koloth is a lot more jovial and (sarcastically diplomatic doesn't quite fit?) inclined to prod Starfleet and Kirk in particular. Compared to other Klingons of the era, and even his older self in DS9. Certainly feels like he was a deliberate pick to get under Kirk's skin in a way that wouldn't violate the treaty.
Kang, Kor, and Koloth, together again!

Each calls back to their TOS appearance.
Thanks for this. I have so much respect for the older generation of Klingon actors, because they brought a Shakespearean vibe to their performances.
Always loved the way Kolath describes "non-essentials". Makes me smile every time.
koloth the most polite sounding klingin

According to IMDB, if Star Trek: TOS was renewed for a fourth season, Captain Koloth would’ve been a recurring enemy.

I always found it weird how he says "Klingn" without the last vowel sound.
So first you did Kor. Then Koloth. What's next. Kang.
Yes, Kang would complete the trio.
LOL, animated Koloth is James Doohan, doing a bad impersonation of a klingon with Scottish accent!!
🐺👍
4:59 I sensed a little bit of Trelane here.
It would have been kind of cool if Trelane was Koloth. In other words, Trelane liked to hang out with Klingons in Klingon form.
KEEP HIM
why does cartoon koloth sound like Scotty doing a german accent
James Doohan might have something to do with that...
James Doohan voiced Koloth in the episode and I think he voiced Kor in the episode Time Trap.
cause it basiclly was
Klingon augment virus ?
He's dead, Jim...
