    I just followed your step by changing color of UI for header. It helps my eyes a lot.. Cheers, :)

    It would be great to know the details about the rig the director was holding all the time on stage...

      Yep agreed! Seems to be a mix of small rig/tilta and maybe 3d printed custom joystick there 21:48. So depend on everyone need we can custom ours Vcam. I tried recetnly and seems to be best with and ipad because on iphone was hard to play with the virtual joystick and adjust others thing like focus and position for example.

      Camera rig is custom. The joysticks are 3D printed and fully custom. The rest of the rig is off the shelf camera hardware you can find at most film stores (cheese plate, bars, etc) so you can easily customize the rig to your liking (shoulder mount, steadicam, etc.) The monitor is simply an iPad streaming the viewport over NDI.
      Hope that helps!

    uhmm at 5:32 how to put highlight on each text like "custom properties, smoothing, etc" ?

      @@adam-reelfx Thanks for providing that. Would be curious to know, based on your experience, what physical controls you absolutely want to have on a rig when shooting? Probably two joysticks for moving around, buttons or wheel for zoom, etc. What kind of features are practical to be mapped on these buttons?

    • @adam-reelfx
      @adam-reelfx ปีที่แล้ว

      @@alxxei as you mentioned, 2 joysticks for movement, buttons to change lensing (or a wheel for zoom).
      You'll also want a button to "zero out" your position. In other words, if you use the joysticks you've offset yourself from being 1:1 with the world. Zeroing out will snap you back to being 1:1.
      It's useful to have buttons or wheels to adjust the sensitivity of the joysticks.
      It's also useful to have buttons or wheels to adjust your "world scale", essentially a multiplier on the translation of the camera.
      Additional goodies can be things like:
      * Kill roll on the camera
      * Ability to scrub the timeline
      * If you don't have an operator and want to be fully independent, ability to trigger a recording

    Anyone tried merging the a physical and virtual camera here?

    Anybody recognizes those joysticks?

    • @adam-reelfx
      @adam-reelfx ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Vcam joysticks are custom: 3D printed and custom hardware/plugin to get data to Unreal.
