Unban Pot of Greed is a bad take, it will just make the game a little more luck-based and a little less skill-based and makes building your deck from 40 cards to 39 cards because you always have that auto-include (even worse in master duel because you have to run maxx c and ash as well so you're only really building a 33 card deck). It's not like whoever draws it wins, but it essentially says whoever draws this card has a 1.2x advantage over the other player. Adding a card that says that it is just boring and bad for the game. Having broken non-engine cards limited is not good in most cases, because it's still broken you just draw it less, if you think it's broken then get rid of it.
I mean up start goblin is at 3 and that does the same thing just less efficient but one of the main reasons people don’t use it is because they would rather see another card in their hand like a hand trap going 2nd even though yes it’s a broken card it’s not a win the game broken like a max c and max c is at 3 I just mainly want it back because why not bring back an iconic card back that isn’t game changing
Regarding ban lists, I think people should consider things logically than just ban it because “I” hate it! The list seems okay but I want to give my thoughts and opinion on this. Skill drain doesnt need to be banned and can stay at 1. At 1, you still need to be able to draw it, set and activate it. Skill drain has always been at one for a long time in the past and didn’t really do much harm. Also for example, like many players who main decked one rivalry in a lot of YCS deck profiles, said they didnt draw it or was too late when they drew it. Same principle so being at one is fine. Beatrice banned doesn’t make any sense. It hasn’t done anything yet until future things comes and even then it may not be banned. People who say apollousa needs to be banned doesn’t understand you can just out it with S/T. It needs a lot of materials to make but the problem isn’t herself but the archetypes that can generate too many cards with one card combos. Apollousa is only a big problem if you combine it with many other omni negates, but barron and borreload is already banned in TCG. Also, a lot of decks now run droplets, talents, dark ruler no more, evenly matched. Whether it is in the main or side. So apollousa can stay at one unless it gets the same treatment as RA01. A lot of people hate dimensional barrier but sometimes you need to be evil to defeat evil. A lot of decks now just generate so much with one card combos and can recover easily too. Dimensional barrier is a trap so it’s a little on the slow side and the only deck that can play it consistently is Lab. There’s my thought process. Whether people like it or not 🤷♂️

Where I disagree is banning cards that recycle spells. It would be better to errata pot of greed by adding a hard once per turn. For puppet lock, I find that the real problem is sanctifire and not puppet, so I would ban it instead (as there are bound to be other monsters that could abuse the effect of sanctifire). Unlimit dragoon is only a good thing if verte anaconda is banned For snake eye, i would change this : poplar and oak at 1, diabellstar unlimited. Indeed konami wants to add some other decks around diabellstar and poplar is for me the real problem of the deck. I would like to ban it but it might kill snake eye so let's just limit 1 Else, I have a lot of other cards that I would like to see banned but as you don't talk at all of them I don't think it's the point here
I didn’t put poplar on this list because I know Konami won’t ban it and they are going to create poplars for all the big decks like galaxy eyes so why hit snake eyes if everyone else is also getting one also and pot of greed errata sounds interesting but old formats still kinda use the og pot of greed so to errata it will kinda hurt old formats but overall I agree with a lot of your points
@@The_Axson I only play master duel so i don't really know the recents key cards in new decks that are not yet in the game. But if you talk about what konami could do, they will never unban pot of greed as they have started to limit other, much less powerful pots (like pot of desires or pot of extravagance, for example).
I mean appo for the tcg is fine but for master duel it’s definitely a problem because Barrone is not banned and much of other Omni negates are still alive but ban the generic Omni negates and appo isn’t that much of a problem
@@Gallywacker max c, if the person is able to the play the game with a battle phase and has to deal with maybe 2 hand traps and the other person lost simply because they didn’t have a counter to max c then it doesn’t matter who’s deck was better just one person was allowed to play and the other was not

Why limit bonfire lol? This just attacks all fire decks for no reason. Oak ban and limit Flam is enough. My man cut a 15 card engine to 7 and thinks this does not kill the strategy.
I mean bonfire is a long term ban there will eventually be more pyro decks and having 3 bonfires will make them ultra consistent limit it now before another pyro deck comes out and they have access to 3 bonfires
@@The_Axson Who cares if they are consistent? Hero is consistent. They have ROTA, a hero lives and fake hero. They are the most consistent deck there is. Do you know why they are not even tier 1? Because their follow up is not insane. The main cards are not insane. Their end board is not incredibly difficult to break and you KNOW for a fact they cannot make the same board NEXT turn after you break it all. Take a look at pure kashtira. Can it play through Nib? Fuck no, it can't. You send the board to the grave and it's over. They pass and cry. Snake eye is the problem and the recursion, not bonfire.

why ban the Gimmick Puppet makes 0 sense they will just replace it with something else. Ban Albion Sanctifier at least. So also you cant create a perfect ban list with TCG and Master Duel they are completely different formats. Also Pot of Greed to 1, you realize every deck would play 1 Pot of Greed. I mean EVERY DECK like it would be 100% in every deck so the card needs to stay banned. So if 6 cards would loop Pot of Greed to ban them, Konami is going for the issue not the enablers, they are trying to make the banlist smaller not adding 200 cards to a banlist to let 1 card not be banned. This guy doesnt understand the game at a full high level obviously with outlandish observations and hits he think will make the game at a better point. Branded will just abuse another card, Beatrice will never happen because Konami is wanting to SELL product, Horus is nowhere in the meta, Anti-Spell is barely seeing play, doesnt have Rivalry on this list, hits 6 cards from Snake-Eyes when you could do it with 2 and make the deck still in the meta, and lets not even get started on Pot of Greed and not even talk about Prosperity.
The realistic Banlist that also solves issues. Banned: Original Sinful Spoils, Albion Sanctifire, Rivalry of the Warlords Limit: Snake-Eyes Ash, Pot of Prosperity, Skill Drain, Crossout Designator Not Touched: Beatrice (KONAMI wants to sell Fiendsmith) Most the other cards you talked about were completely irrelevant, Bonfire may eventually get a hit, but with my list you remove 9 starters in the Snake-Eyes deck (2 Ash, 3 Wanted, 3 Diabellstar, 1 Original Sinful) basically means it would be tough to fix consistency. Apollousa is hard to say its like a 50/50 of Banned or not touched.
