I compare it to when you're singing along to your favorite song. You don't have to think about it because you just know it so well, which allows you to really get into the mood when singing along

I would love to see you do a breakdown of Gary Oldman’s acting. He is an incredible actor and I love to see what he brings to the table in any film that he is in.

I was an extra in Napoleon. Literally had Joaquin come in and deliver a monologue to our faces. I honestly don't remember much about it. Maybe if I'd watched this first I'd have been able to take it in more. Just remember how expressive and intense his face naturally was

2:44 Marlon Brando was so notorious for not memorizing his lines. I guess you’d have to be EXCEPTIONALLY talented in order to pull off great performances without memorizing lines.
Michael Caine Marlon Brando Samuel Jackson Denzel Washington when it's also fascinated me, John leguizamo to be such a truly funny human being and played drama that well
I saw both Killers of the flower moon and Napoleon in theaters. I thought Joaquin was terrific as always but the only problem is that the movie itself isn’t on par with his deep work. However, Leonardo in Killers of the flowers moon was quite the opposite. A great movie with great supporting actors overshadowing Leo’s weaknesses that stem once again in a very high potential role that could have been brilliant. In the last few years since winning the oscar, Leo has made 4 movies with 4 great directors and with 4 vastly different characters. The only issue is he played them all the exact same. The thing that made his performance here a huge disappointment for me and many people that were in my own cinema is that he never touches on the conflicted character he is playing. He nails the accent but nothing else really. It just ended up as being portrayed as a very low iq character that has no personality or opinions on anything but one that also does heinous crimes in a very detailed and skilled fashion! For me, the only conflict he conveyed was the conflict between the written character and his understanding of the character that didn’t fit!
